Replacement Bride Left With His Baby (Sophia and Easton) novel Chapter 115

115 Chapter 115

115.Chapter 115

After ending the call, he stepped out of the car and walked into the showroom.

Julian and his assistant happened to see Easton enter and were taken aback. After all, the Foster Group and Crestview Group were competitors, and today was the Grandview Estate launch, yet he came alone.

Still, no matter how puzzled they were, they knew they had to be polite.

“Mr. Foster, it’s been a while. Thank you for coming,” Julian said with a polite smile.

Easton nodded with a faint smile. “I just got back from Menolia recently. I’m here today with Mr. Howard.”

Julian got it-he came with Ryan. He said, “Alright, I’ll show you around. Maybe you’ll even get some advice for me.”

Easton scanned the room but didn’t see Sophia or Frank anywhere, so he just nodded. “Sure.”

Julian walked Easton through the showroom, talking about business, and soon, they reached a booth on the second floor.

Julian waved his assistant away, signaling that he wanted to talk to Easton alone.

“Mr. Roth, what is it?” Easton asked.

Julian smiled and said, “Thanks for what you did for Sophia last time. If you hadn’t shown up in time, things could have turned out a lot worse.”

Easton picked up his cup and took a sip. “Mr. Roth, I thought you would warn me to stay away from Sophia.”

Julian certainly knew what had happened between them the day Sophia got into trouble, so there was no need to beat around the bush.

Julian gave a gentle smile. “I believe you both know what you’re doing. Even though I’m her brother, I have no right to interfere in her private matters.”

Easton glanced up at Julian, watching him closely. “Honestly, I’m genuinely curious. You’re known for being protective, yet ever since Sophia and I divorced, I’ve never sensed any resentment from you.”

Julian sipped his coffee. “I knew you were the one Sophia liked from a young age. We regretted letting her marry you because she was miserable in that marriage and ended up living alone abroad for years.

“However, it was all her decision. Love isn’t something you can control. It’s about when it hits and whether life lets it happen. We don’t have any reason to hold any grudge against you.”

Easton fell silent.

Julian glanced down at the first floor, paused, and set his cup aside. “Mr. Foster, that’s all I’ll say. You’re not here just to accompany Mr. Howard, right?”

Easton followed Julian’s gaze toward the first floor.

Downstairs, Sophia was showing Frank around, patiently recommending a few of the best units.

There were quite a few people around, and Frank carefully rested his hand on her back to make sure no one bumped into her.

Easton’s gaze darkened instantly as he watched, jealousy flickering beneath his calm exterior.

Julian smiled and said, “Mr. Foster, I’ll be right back.”

Just then, Ryan came up from the first floor and stood beside Easton. “If you keep hesitating, Sophia will fall for that guy. Look, she’s already checking out houses with him, and you’re doing nothing.

“I just heard from May that Sophia has also chosen one. Who knows? They might even become neighbors, and Frank would have the upper hand.”

Easton listened, his face betraying nothing, but he casually handed Ryan a card and said coldly, “Find out which unit she’s buying, and purchase all the remaining units on that floor.”
