When he saw who was in the picture, his face turned stormy. He thought, ‘Frank just got back to Jenston, and he’s already seeing my woman.’

Gordon had ordered lunch for Easton earlier and brought it in, only to find him looking really grim. He had no clue who’d pissed Easton off again.

He said cautiously, “Mr. Foster, your lunch is here.”

Easton just looked at the lunch in Gordon’s hands angrily.

He grabbed his phone and called Charles. “Give me the address.”

Less than ten seconds later, Easton got the message. He snatched up his phone and jacket and walked out without a word, leaving Gordon standing in the office, looking completely lost.

Charles had his arm around Fiona, grinning. Just imagining Easton’s reaction to that photo was just too funny. “What are you giggling about?” Fiona asked in a flirty tone.

Charles leaned over and planted a kiss on her cheek. “Babe, do you wanna see Easton get all jealous?”

Fiona looked surprised, but she still nodded.

Less than fifteen minutes later, before Sophia and Frank’s food had even arrived, Easton was already at the restaurant.

As soon as he walked in, he saw Sophia and Frank sitting together, laughing and talking. Easton’s gaze darkened slightly, and inside, he felt jealous.

Easton’s expression was icy as he took a deep breath, just about to march over to them, but before he could even move, Charles held his arm.

“Don’t lose your cool. Annoy Sophia and she’ll freeze you out next time,” Charles said, trying to keep it serious.

Easton hesitated for a second, while Charles, barely holding back a grin, dragged him into the private room.

Fiona greeted Easton politely, but the latter couldn’t take his eyes off Sophia and Frank sitting outside, so he just nodded absently.

“You haven’t eaten yet, right? I got you the same thing Sophia is having. Give it a shot,” Charles said.

Easton took out a cigarette and lit it up. “I’m not hungry.”

Outside the private room, Sophia was completely oblivious to the fact that Easton had a perfect view of her and Frank having lunch together.

Easton’s jealousy was practically about to boil over.

It wasn’t until Sophia and Frank finished their lunch and walked out together to get the car that Easton, unable to hold back any longer, followed them right out of the restaurant.

The weather in Jenston had been pretty rough lately, with the wind howling nonstop. As soon as Sophia stepped outside, a blast of wind sent sand straight into her eyes.

Frank, looking worried, quickly brushed her hair away from her face and gently dabbed at her eyes with a tissue, trying to help her get the sand out.

When Easton stepped outside and caught sight of that scene, jealousy surged inside him. Without thinking, he strode over and pulled Sophia firmly to his side.

Sophia was so startled. As she blinked her eyes open, she found herself staring straight into Easton’s stormy, possessive gaze.

Reflexively, she pushed him away. “Easton, what are you doing?”

Frank stepped up. “Mr. Foster, let go of Sophia.”

“Are you close to her?” Easton said through gritted teeth, shooting Sophia a sharp, jealous look.

Sophia had no clue why Easton was acting so mad. She pushed him away. “Easton, let go of me.”

Easton firmly took Sophia’s hand, guided her past Frank, and ushered her straight into the passenger seat of his car. He locked the door behind her, making it clear she wasn’t going anywhere.

Frank stepped up, blocking Easton’s path. “Mr. Foster, where are you taking Sophia?”

Easton brushed him aside, his voice cold and menacing. “Frank, you’d better stay out of this, unless you want to get sent to Evaris again.”

He opened the car door, got in, and drove off, leaving Frank frozen in place.
