178.Chapter 178
Sophia had spent the whole day in meetings at the office. Even with Emily, her super capable secretary, helping out, she still liked to be hands-on with all those details.
She just couldn’t leave things to others, so every project she took on, she always had Emily by her side. She wasn’t exactly tired out, but she was definitely feeling a bit drained.

While taking her lunch break, she leaned back in her chair and drifted off to sleep without even noticing. Her phone was set to vibrate, so she missed all of Frank’s calls; he’d tried reaching her several times, but she didn’t hear a thing.
Just then, he parked his car downstairs at Crestview Group, and as he got out, he bumped into Julian.
Frank smiled and said, “Mr. Roth, it’s been a while.”
Julian saw him as he came out of the lobby and politely stepped forward to greet Frank. “Hi, Mr. Hayes.”
Frank apologized earnestly, “I’m sorry I missed your wedding. There was some trouble at our Evaris branch, so I had to go over and take care of it myself.”
Julian smiled. “It’s okay. The gift you sent over was wonderful; my wife and I truly appreciated it. Is everything sorted out at the branch now?”
Frank nodded. “Yeah. I just got back to Jenston yesterday. I had a meeting with a client at a nearby café this morning, and now that I’m done, I wanted to take Sophia out for lunch, but she hasn’t been picking up her phone.”
Julian thought, ‘Jenston is huge, and the Hayes Group is nowhere near Crestview Group. There’s no way he’d just happen to have a client meeting around here.
‘He’s obviously just making up an excuse. He just wants to see Sophia!
“Sophia has been pretty busy lately. She’s been stuck in meetings all morning, so her phone is probably on silent mode. She should be wrapping up right about now. Do you want me to have my assistant call her?” Julian offered.
Frank smiled. “Thanks, Mr. Roth. I appreciate it.”
Julian had already made lunch plans with Annie, so after telling his assistant to call Sophia, he got in his car and headed out.
Not long after, Frank’s phone rang.
“Frank, I’m so sorry. I was stuck in meetings all morning and had my phone on silent mode, so I totally missed your calls,” Sophia said.
Frank’s voice was soft as he said, “No worries.”
“Frank, are you back in Jenston?” Sophia asked.
“Yeah, I had a meeting at a café nearby this morning. I just wrapped up, and it hit me that I haven’t seen you for a while. How about we grab some lunch together?” Frank suggested.
Sophia checked the time; it was already one o’clock. “Sure, but you might have to wait for me a little bit.”
“No worries. My car is parked right downstairs. Just come down and you’ll see me,” Frank said.
“Okay,” Sophia replied.
Frank hung up, and his face lit up with a big grin.
Sophia didn’t keep Frank waiting long. About ten minutes later, she came downstairs. “Frank, it’s been ages.”
“It really has,” Frank said softly as he looked at her.
He walked over and opened the passenger seat door for her. “Come on, get in. Let me treat you to lunch.”
Since Sophia had another meeting to get to later in the afternoon, Frank suggested they eat somewhere close

They hadn’t even been there for long when someone in the private lounge took notice of them and started snapping some sneaky photos on their phone.
Just as Easton walked out of the meeting room, he got a text from Charles with a photo attached.
