221 Chapter 221
221.Chapter 221
Five minutes later, Gordon replied, “Mr. Foster, that’s the extra card you gave Mrs. Sophia Foster when you divorced her five years ago. It’s still registered under your name.”
Easton realized, ‘So this is the card I set up for her alimony back then.
All these years, Sophia never spent a dime from it? Easton was genuinely surprised.
And now, she’d finally used it.
“A bar? Easton wondered, raising an eyebrow.
He passed his phone to Charles. “Cloud Bar, ever heard of it?”
Charles took a drag on his cigarette, squinting at the screen. ‘Shit, isn’t that the new gigolo joint right next to us?” Ryan instantly frowned when he heard that word, then kicked Charles under the table. “Why’d you have to bring that up in front of me?”
Charles yelped and grabbed his leg. “Come on, Mr. Howard, I wasn’t talking about you. I meant the new bar next door.” They both looked over at Easton and realized his expression was thunderous, his whole face was like a storm cloud. The tension in the air was palpable. Easton was clearly furious, every inch of him seething with anger.
He tossed his cards down, grabbed his coat, and stormed out of the room without another word.
“Hey, Easton, where are you headed?” Ryan called out.
“Come on, let’s follow him. Can’t you see he looks like he’s about to kill someone?” Charles said.
“Why does he care so much? It’s just a gigolo bar, what’s it got to do with him?” Ryan muttered.
Ryan smacked Charles on the shoulder speaking through clenched teeth. Try saying that word one more time.”
Charles raised his hands in surrender. “Okay, okay, I get it, I was wrong.”
As Easton strode down the street, all eyes were on him. His aura was just that intense, powerful, and magnetic. He was a total celebrity in Jenston.
If it weren’t for his bodyguards, who knows how many tipsy women would’ve tried to accidentally fall into his arms, hoping to stir up a picture-perfect scandal
When Easton arrived at the entrance of Cloud Bar, he spotted a few male hosts escorting Sophia and Emily out.
May was still clear-headed. She’d already called for a driver, and the car was waiting right outside. She figured they could just hop in and head home, but the moment she stepped out, she ran smack into a group of serious bigwigs.
“Holy crap, May, what are you doing here?” Ryan blurted out.
The moment Ryan saw May step out, his eyes practically shot fire. He stormed over and grabbed her arm.
“Ryan, are you crazy? Grabbing me like this in public, do you have any idea how that looks?” May snapped.
Ryan glared at her teeth clenched. She always says the same thing he thought, fuming. He yanked her closer. “And what about you, a big-shot lawyer, bringing Sophia to a place like this? How is that any better?”
“Sophia? Where is Sophia? May snapped back.
After she spoke, May followed Ryan’s gaze and spotted Easton. His chiseled features were drawn tight, and his dark eyes burned with barely restrained rage.
His lips were pressed into a hard line, and he looked like he was seconds away from ripping the host’s arm right off Sophia
Easton marched right up to Sophia, his voice cold as ice as he snapped at the host, “Let go.”
The hosts saw the look in Eastor’s eyes, definitely not someone to mess with, so they instantly dropped their hands, and Sophia tumbled straight into his arms.
Easton didn’t even glance at the crowd. He signaled his bodyguards to clear a path, scooped Sophia up bridal-style, and carried her to his limited-edition Maybach. Without another word, he got in and sped away, leaving everyone stunned.
May cried out anxiously. “Let go of me! Where the hell is that damn Easton taking Sophia?”
Ryan didn’t even bother to answer. He just dragged her into his car, and before getting in, he turned to Charles and said, ” Make sure Sophia’s secretary gets home safe.”
Charles nodded, still locking totally confused
