After leaving Foster Group, Katherine drifted home in a daze. Every time she remembered that Murray was dead, a sharp pain gripped her heart.

When Katherine realized Gordon was waiting downstairs, she snatched up her keys and hurried to the elevator.

Katherine rushed up to Gordon, panting.

“Gordon, can you tell me what happened to Murray now?” she asked, her voice trembling with anticipation.

He said, “After graduating from college, Mr. Foster founded an investment bank in Menolia, with Mr. Hunter as his partner.

“That year, Mr. Foster was invited by a new energy company in Yorkland for a promising project. Both he and Mr. Hunter dedicated a lot of time to research and preparation.

“Mr. Hunter even set up a temporary office in Yorkland half a year early. It was there that he met Stella, and they soon became a couple.
