430 Chapter 430
430.Chapter 430
From all this, Sophia could see just how much Irene respected and cared for her.
Sophia couldn’t help but feel lucky. Her parents might have been gone, but she had never been short on family warmth or the affection of those who cared for her.
She had Edward and Irene by her side.
Sophia walked over to Irene, who was sitting at the dining table, her hair snowy white as she made ravioli. “Irene, we’re home,” Sophia said softly.
Irene set down the ravioli she was making and wiped her hands with a warm towel. “Come here, Lucas. Let me give you a hug,” she said with a gentle smile.
Lucas said hello to Irene very politely.
“Lucas, you’re such a polite boy. Sophia, did Edward get out of the hospital yet?” Irene asked warmly.
Sophia came out of the kitchen after washing her hands and took a seat next to Irene. “He was discharged yesterday,” she replied.
Irene nodded. “That’s good. Once Edward feels better, let’s all get together for a nice family dinner.”
Sophia didn’t refuse. “Sure.”
Irene and Sophia sat together, chatting as they made ravioli. “Easton called me last night and told me you love ravioli, so I made some just for you today,” Irene said.
Sophia lowered her eyes, a gentle smile playing on her lips.
“Easton is always thinking about you. Seeing you and Easton doing so well together makes me really happy,” Irene said.

Grace, standing nearby, could see that Sophia was feeling a bit uncomfortable. Knowing Sophia wasn’t good at lying, she quickly jumped in to help her out. “Mrs. Irene Foster, we’ve made plenty of ravioli.
“Let me take them to the kitchen and start cooking. Mrs. Sophia Foster and Lucas must be hungry.”
Sophia gave Grace a grateful look
After lunch, Sophia helped Irene back to her bedroom for a nap.
Sophia said softly, “Irene, I might be heading to Greenwich next Monday. I was thinking Lucas could stay here with you for a few days. Easton should be back soon, and when he returns, he’ll bring Lucas back home to Silvermoon Bay.”
Irene’s face lit up with joy at the idea of Lucas staying with her for a few days.
“That sounds wonderful! Let Lucas stay here with me for a while, don’t worry about a thing. Easton doesn’t need to hurry back. Once he finishes up in Cedarica, he can just head straight to Greenwich and pick you up there,” Irene replied.
Sophia couldn’t help but admire Irene. Irene was always scheming to help Easton, never missing a chance to throw her and Easton together.
Sophia just smiled and didn’t say anything.

On Monday morning, Paolo dropped Sophia off at the airport and then drove away.
Sophia wheeled her small suitcase up to the check-in counter, documents in hand, getting ready to check in for her flight.
As she walked, she kept her head down, busy replying to emails on her phone, not noticing someone coming her way.
Sophia accidentally bumped into someone ahead of her, and her phone and documents scattered across the floor.
“Sorry…” Sophia blurted out.
“Why so careless?” the person said.
The voice was gentle and familiar. Still crouched on the floor, Sophia looked up in surprise. “Frank? What are the odds?”
Frank helped her up. “I’m on a business trip to Greenwich today. How about you?”
Sophia smiled. “What a coincidence! I’m going to Greenwich, too. Don’t tell me you’re on the 9 a.m. flight as well?”
Frank held up his boarding pass. “Yep, that’s the one.”
After helping Sophia check in at the counter, Fra Successfully unlocked! waiting area.
“Are you heading to Greenwich for the photography exition: Fran asked, noticing the exhibition brochure in Sophia’s
hand.

Sophia nodded. “Yeah. If I remember right, you studied photography in college, didn’t you?”
Frank looked at Sophia with gentle eyes. “I’m surprised you still remember that. Actually, I have some of my work on display at this exhibition. Why don’t we go in together and check it out?”
