Chapter 155 A “Gigolo”

Just as Amelia was starting to drift off, Selena’s makeover was finished.

“Babe, look at me! Am I hot or what?”

Selena’s excited voice woke Amelia up. She looked up and saw a handsome “man” in a tailored suit, radiating a rebellious, bad–boy charm.

“Wow! If you were a guy and went into acting, Dylan wouldn’t stand a chance!”

Selena loved the compliment. She threw an arm around Amelia’s shoulders, acting like a roguish nobleman.

“Hey gorgeous, I’m feeling pretty good. How about dinner with me tonight?”

Amelia played along with a nod. “I’d be honored, sir.”

They walked into a high–end restaurant arm–in–arm. Selena had gone all out, even booking a romantic candlelight dinner.

But as soon as they walked in, a pair of hateful eyes locked onto them.

Chloe Morgan was on a blind date with an older man. When she saw Amelia walked in with a “gigolo,” she immediately snapped a photo and sent it to Sebastian Sterling.

She added, “Seb, look at Amelia playing you for a fool. She’s out in broad daylight with another man!”

Chloe didn’t have Sebastian’s private number, so she sent it to his work phone.

Ryan, the assistant, was busy in the office when he saw the message. His jaw nearly hit the floor when he saw the high–def photo.

In the picture, Amelia was snuggled up to a pretty–boy in a suit. They looked incredibly close, and Amelia was even smiling at “him” shyly!

The whole thing looked suspicious.

Should he tell sebastian? Or investigate first? Ryan was torn, his eyes glued to the photo.

He muttered to himself, “Wait, why does this guy look so familiar?”

Suddenly, a large, well–manicured hand snatched the phone away.

Ryan jumped in fright. “Mr. Sterling! The phone!”

Sebastian looked at the enlarged photo, his brow furrowing into a deep V.

Amelia in another man’s arms, smiling like that… it was a direct hit to his ego. His grip tightened until his knuckles cracked, looking like he might crush the phone.

The temperature in the room dropped instantly. Sebastian’s face turned darker by he‘ second. Ryan scrambled to explain.

‘Sir, there might be a misunderstanding…

‘Misunderstanding?” Sebastian’s eyes narrowed. “What part of this is a misunderstanding?”

She was literally in the guy’s arms!

Ryan lowered his head and whispered, “Well, you didn’t go to the school to support ner today. I heard Sophia got arrested–maybe this guy was the one who helped

ner.”

Crack!

Sebastian slammed the phone onto the desk, his rage boiling over. “If you don’t have anything useful to say, keep your mouth shut!”

He had planned to go to the school, but someone important had returned from abroad unexpectedly. He had to arrange their stay, so…

Even though he was the one who broke the promise, and he had intended to apologize later, seeing this photo changed everything.

“Fifteen minutes. I want everything on this man.”

Sebastian marched out of the office, dialing a familiar number. All he got was: “The person you are calling is unavailable.”

“She actually hung up on me. She’s got guts!”

He called several more times, but Amelia declined every single one. Sebastian, his face thunderous, got into his car to hunt her down.

Back at the restaurant, Selena was the one declining the calls on Amelia’s phone. Amelia was starting to get nervous.
