Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 108
CHAPTER 68-1
By Saturday morning, Lawson Customs looked nothing like the quiet workshop where I had started working alone.
The front windows had been replaced, the damaged motorcycles had been repaired and the walls had been cleaned until the place looked almost new again. More importantly, the workshop was
filled with people.
I stood beside the motorcycle we had restored for the children’s hospital fundraiser while Mia checked the final paperwork.
“You sure you’re ready to let this one go?” She asked and I looked at the bike and smiled.
“Not really.” I said and Mia laughed.
“Then why are you doing it?” She asked.
“Because Uncle Will would’ve wanted me to.” I said.
The motorcycle had started as an old machine that barely deserved to be called functional, but weeks of work had transformed it into something beautiful. We had rebuilt the engine, restored the original paintwork, replaced damaged wiring, polished the chrome and carefully preserved every authentic detail we could.
The Iron Vipers had volunteered to handle security for the auction and by the time we arrived at the event grounds, several members were already positioning motorcycles around the parking
area.
Jace stood near the entrance, speaking with Derek, but the moment he saw me, his attention
shifted and he walked over and smiled.
“You look beautiful.” He said and I glanced down at my jeans and black blouse.
“I’m wearing work boots.” I said.
“I noticed. I still think you’re beautiful.” He said as he reached for my hand and I smiled.
“You clean up pretty well yourself.” I said.
He wore a dark shirt with his club vest and the combination made several women nearby glance
his way as I squeezed his fingers.
“Try not to get too popular.” I added and he laughed.
“Are you jealous?” He asked.

CHAPTER 68 1
“Maybe.” I said as his arm slipped around my waist.
“Lonly have eyes for you.” He said and I looked up at him.
“Good answer.” I said.
He leaned down and kissed my forehead before we headed toward the auction area together.

The event had grown much larger than anyone expected. Families filled the open grounds, local businesses had donated food and prizes, children ran between tables covered with games and
volunteers from the hospital stood near the main stage collecting donations.
The Iron Vipers had initially worried that their presence might make people uncomfortable, but the
opposite happened.
People kept approaching them. Parents thanked them for providing security. Local business owners shook their hands. Several older residents who had once avoided the club now stood
talking comfortably with members near the food stalls.
I watched Jace speak with an elderly man for several minutes before the man laughed and patted
him on the shoulder.
“You’ve got a good one there.” Emma said beside me and I looked at her.
“Who?” I asked and she nodded toward Jace.
“Him.” She said and I smiled.
“Yeah, I do.” I said and Emma grinned.
“You two are getting disgustingly comfortable.” She said.
“We’re comfortable.” I said.
“Exactly.” She said as she laughed before walking away.
The auction began just after noon and one donated item after another went across the stage and
the crowd grew more enthusiastic with every bid.
Then it was time for the motorcycle. I stood beside it while the auctioneer introduced the
restoration.
“Lawson Customs has donated this beautifully restored vintage motorcycle and every dollar raised today will go directly to the children’s hospital.” The man said.
The crowd applauded and I looked toward Jace who stood near the edge of the stage, watching me with quiet pride and the auctioneer handed me the microphone.
