Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 157
CHAPTER 96-1
JACE’S POV
The call came just after midnight and I knew from Derek’s voice that whatever he’d found wasn’t another
rumor.
“We’ve got movement.” Derek said as I sat forward.
“Where?” I asked.
“North road, heading toward the old industrial district.” Derek said.
“How many?” I asked.
“At least six vehicles.” He said.
I glanced across the room at Mason and Hunter, who were already looking toward me.
“Black Reapers?” I asked and Derek paused.
“Looks like it.” Derek said.
“Nobody moves until I say.” I said and Mason frowned.
“You want to wait?” Mason asked.
“I want to know where they’re going.” I said and Hunter grabbed his jacket.
“What if they hit another depot?” Hunter asked.
“Then we’ll stop them.” I said.
I walked toward the main table where Derek had spread several maps across the surface.
The industrial district sat near the edge of town, and several old service roads ran through the area.
There were three main exits and that gave me an idea.
“We don’t attack them.” I said as Mason looked at me.
“Then what are we doing?” Mason asked.
“We’re letting them walk into a box.” I said and Derek’s eyes narrowed.
“You want to trap them.” Derek asked.
“Exactly.” I said as I pointed toward the map.
“Block the eastern road first.” I added and Hunter nodded.
“I’ll take it.” Hunter said.
“Mason, take the southern exit.” I said.

Got it.” Mason said.
Derek, you stay with me.” I said and he nodded.
“What about the western road?” Derek asked and I looked toward him.
“Leave it open.” I said and Mason frowned.
“Why would we leave them an escape route?” Mason asked. –
“Because they’ll think it’s their way out.” I said as Derek smiled.
“And when they take it?” Derek asked.
“We close the net.” I said.
Everyone understood. This wasn’t going to be a fight. It was going to be a trap.
Within twenty minutes, the Iron Vipers were in position.
I rode toward the industrial district with Derek behind me and the roads were almost empty as we moved through the darkness.
The air was cold and the distant lights of the city reflected against the clouds.
We stopped several blocks away from the old warehouses and Derek checked his phone.
“They’re close.” Derek said and I looked toward the road.
Headlights appeared in the distance. One vehicle. Then another and then another.
Six vehicles rolled into view, followed by two motorcycles.
“They’re here.” I said and Derek nodded.
The convoy moved slowly toward the warehouses, and I watched them enter the area.
Nobody appeared to notice the Iron Vipers waiting nearby and I lifted my phone.
“Hold.” I said as the convoy continued.
“Hold.” I repeated as they passed the first intersection.
“Hold.” I said as they were waiting to attack.
They moved deeper into the district. Then the final vehicle entered the trap and I smiled.
“Now.” I yelled.
The radios came alive and Hunter blocked the eastern road. Mason moved into position at the southern
exit.
Several club vehicles rolled into the western road behind the convoy.
The Black Reapers realized what was happening almost immediately and headlights swung around. Engines roared and one motorcycle tried to force its way through the western blockade and Derek

stepped forward.
“Move!” Derek yelled.
The rider stopped suddenly and another vehicle reversed. Hunter’s truck blocked the road.
The convoy was trapped. Then something unexpected happened.

The Black Reapers abandoned the motorcycles and they jumped from their vehicles and ran toward the warehouses.
