Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 197
CHAPTER 116-T
Paige’s POV
Saturday morning started with the sound of motorcycle engines coming alive outside the clubhouse, and even before I opened my eyes, I could hear laughter drifting through the bedroom window.
I smiled before I even got out of bed.
The annual family ride was happening today, and judging by the noise downstairs, everyone had been awake for hours.
I climbed out of bed beside Jace, grabbed my clothes, and headed into the bathroom. I showered, brushed my teeth, pulled my hair into a ponytail, and dressed in jeans, boots, and my black leather jacket.
When I walked back into the bedroom, Jace was already dressed and he looked at me and smiled.
“Ready?” He asked.
“I think so.” I said.
“You think so?” He asked as I grabbed my sunglasses.
“I haven’t had coffee yet.” I said and he laughed.
“Fair enough.” He said.

We headed downstairs together, and the clubhouse was already packed.
Children ran through the hallway while the wives carried bags, jackets, drinks, and snacks toward the back door.
Mason stood near the entrance holding a helmet in one hand and a breakfast sandwich in the other.
“You made it.” Mason said as I looked at him.
“Did you expect me to stay in bed?” I asked.
“Honestly, I thought Jace might.” He said and Jace shook his head.
“I’m standing right here.” Jace said.
“I know.” Mason said as Emma walked past carrying a cooler.
“Can someone tell the children to stop stealing the snacks?” Emma asked and Mason pointed toward the backyard.
“They’re outside.” He said.
“That’s why I’m asking.” She said and I laughed.
The clubhouse felt completely different on mornings like this. There were no tense meetings. No arguments about the Black Reapers. No discussions about security.
ACTERIJ
It was just families getting ready for a day together and I stepped outside with Jace and the parking area was filled with motorcycles.
Some were big touring bikes with saddlebags, while others were classic cruisers that looked like they had been lovingly maintained for years.
The children were already wearing helmets, and several of them were sitting on motorcycles with their parents while everyone organized the route.
Diesel moved between the groups, sniffing everyone’s boots and wagging his tail whenever someone called his name so I crouched beside him.
“Are you coming too?” I asked as his tail started moving faster and Jace laughed.
“He thinks he is.” Jace said and Diesel looked up at him.
“He probably is.” I said as Jace shook his head.
“He’s going in the truck.” Jade said and Diesel immediately barked so I laughed.
“I think he disagrees.” I said.
“He can disagree from the passenger seat.” Jace said.
After everyone finished checking their bikes, we finally left.
Jace rode beside me, and the rest of the group stretched out behind us along the country road.
The morning air was cool, and the sunlight flashed across the chrome of the motorcycles as we passed fields, farms and stretches of wooded countryside.
I glanced toward Jace and he looked relaxed. That made me smile.
For the first time in weeks, I felt relaxed too.
There was something peaceful about riding with everyone.
The children waved from the trucks and passenger seats, while the wives rode together behind the main
group.
Every few miles, we passed another small town, and people stopped to watch the motorcycles roll through.
I couldn’t help smiling when I realized how many people waved at us and Jace noticed.
“You enjoying yourself?” He asked and I nodded.
“I am.” I said.
“You look happy.” He said.
“I am.” I said and he smiled.
“Good.” He said.
