Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 196
CHAPTER 115-2
“What exactly do you need?” I asked.
“Anything that gives me an advantage.” He said.
“Against Paige?” I asked.
“Against the people around her.” He said and I frowned.
“You know about the Iron Vipers.” I said.
“I know enough.” He said and I leaned back.
“Who do you work for?” I asked and he smiled.
“That isn’t relevant.” He said.
“You’re asking me to give you information, so I think I deserve to know.” I said.
He looked at me for several seconds and then he calmly picked up his glass.
“You don’t need to know my employer.” He said.
Something about the way he said it told me the conversation was over.
I should have walked away. Instead, I nodded.
“Fine.” I said and his smile returned.
“Good.” He said.
He pulled another envelope from his jacket and placed it on the table.
“This is yours if you can answer my next questions.” He said and I opened it. More money and I felt a thrill run through me.
“What do you want?” I asked.
“When does Lawson Customs open?” He asked.
“Usually early.” I said.
“What time?” He asked.
“Around seven.” I said.
“Does Paige always arrive first?” He asked.
“Not always.” I said.
“Who has keys?” He asked.
“Paige, Mia, and Ben.” I said and he nodded.
CHAPTER 15-2
“Anyone else?” He asked.
“I think Jace has access.” I said and his eyes narrowed slightly.
“Jace?” He asked.
“Yes.” I said.
“How often does he visit?” The man asked.
“Often.” I said.
“Does he stay overnight?” He asked as I frowned.
“Sometimes.” I said and the stranger made a note.
“What about the clubhouse?” He asked.
“What about it?” I asked.
“How secure is it?” He asked and I shook my head.
“I don’t know.” I said.
“Think.” He said so I thought about it.
“There are cameras.” I said.
“How many?” He asked.
“I’ve never counted.” I said.
“Who monitors them?” He asked.
“The club.” I said and he nodded.
“Do they patrol the garage?” He asked.
“Sometimes.” I said.
“How often?” He asked.
“I don’t know.” I said and he leaned back.
“You’ve been around Paige for years, haven’t you?” He asked.
“Yes.” I said.
“Then you know her habits.” He said and I smiled.
“I know her better than she thinks.” I said.
“Good.” He said as he pushed the envelope toward me.
“Then learn more.” He added as I looked at the money.

“What do you mean?” I asked.
Her schedule.” He said.
“Why?” I asked.
“I want to know where she goes.” He said and I stared at him.
“That’s personal.” I said and he shrugged.
“So is money.” He said and I laughed softly.
“Fair enough.” I said and he stood.
“We’ll meet again.” He said.
“When?” I asked.
“I’ll contact you.” He said as I slipped the money into my handbag.
“You really aren’t going to tell me who you work for?” I asked and he looked at me.
“No.” He said but I smiled.
“Fine.” I said.

He walked away and I watched him leave the restaurant, and although I should have felt uneasy, I didn’t.
I felt excited.
For the first time in a long time, I felt like someone was finally giving me an opportunity to take control of my life.
I drove home with the envelope sitting beside me, and I couldn’t stop thinking about what I could do with the money.
I didn’t ask where it came from. I didn’t ask why he wanted information about Paige. I didn’t ask who his employer was. Those questions didn’t matter.
Not when I was finally getting something I wanted.
The following morning, I arrived at the café near Lawson Customs and sat at a table near the window.
