Summary for Chapter 332: Ride With Me (Paige and Jace)

Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 332

CHAPTER 185-1

By Saturday morning, Lawson Customs looked nothing like the quiet garage I had opened years ago, because motorcycles filled the parking lot, trucks lined the street, and people from all over town were already gathering around the tables we had set up for the charity ride.

I stood near the front entrance with a clipboard in my hands, although I had checked the schedule so many times that I probably could have recited every detail in my sleep.

The charity ride had started as a simple conversation between Charles and me, but somehow it had grown into something much bigger.

Lawson Customs was sponsoring the event, Charles’s company had agreed to contribute alongside us, and the Iron Vipers had organized the motorcycle ride itself.

The money raised would go toward supporting local emergency services, including equipment and community programs that helped firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical workers.

I looked across the parking lot and watched people arrive in groups, many of them wearing club colors, while others wore work shirts, jeans, or jackets with the names of local businesses printed across the

backs.

There were families with children, retired bikers, mechanics, firefighters, police officers, and people who had probably never attended an Iron Vipers event before.

It was strange seeing everyone together. It was also strangely comforting.

Jace walked toward me wearing his Iron Vipers vest, and he smiled when he saw the expression on my face.

“You look like you’re waiting for something to go wrong.” He said.

“I’m waiting for something to go wrong.” I admitted, and he laughed softly.

“Everything is organized, the club has security around the route, Sarah knows about the event, and Derek has checked everything twice.” He said.

“That doesn’t mean something can’t happen.” I said.

“No, but it means we are prepared if it does.” He said as I lowered my clipboard and looked toward the crowd again.

“I still can’t believe this many people showed up.” I said.

“They showed up because they believe in what you built.” He said as I looked at him, and his expression softened.

“Don’t give me all the credit.” I said.

“I’m not giving you all the credit, Paige, because I’m reminding you that you didn’t get here by accident.” He said.

Before I could answer, Diesel came trotting across the parking lot with Ben following behind him.

<CHAPTER 195

Ben had somehow managed to put a little red bandana around Diesel’s neck, and Diesel looked entirely Too pleased with himself.

“Your supervisor has arrived. Ben said as I crouched and scratched Diesel behind the ears.

“He already thinks he runs the place.” I said.

“He does run the place.” Bén replied, and Mia called from behind him that she had been saying the same thing for months.

I laughed, because for the first time in a long time, the garage felt completely alive.

Not busy because we were trying to survive. Not busy because someone was threatening us.

It was busy because people wanted to be there.

That difference mattered.

The first motorcycles began lining up shortly before nine, and Jace moved through the crowd, greeting club members and checking that everyone understood the route.

Mason was helping organize the riders, while Derek stood near the entrance keeping an eye on the surrounding streets.

Aiden was helping Ben prepare a small display about motorcycle maintenance, and Mia was handling registration with the efficiency of someone who could probably organize a military operation while answering three phone calls.

Charlotte was helping with the donation table.

She had asked permission before taking on every task, and she had followed Mia’s instructions without complaining.

That alone still surprised me.

She caught my eye from across the lot, and for a second, neither of us moved. Then she smiled.

I returned it cautiously.
