Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 482
CHAPTER 254-1
The baby shower had ended, but nobody seemed ready to leave.
The clubhouse grounds still glowed beneath the fairy lights, while children ran around and their parents tried convincing them it was time to go home.
I sat beneath a tree with Jace beside me, one hand resting over my stomach as I watched everyone slowly relax.
My feet were aching, my back hurt, and my stomach felt like it had doubled in size overnight, but I
couldn’t stop smiling.
I’d never imagined having a day like this.
For years, my life had been about survival, work, protecting myself, and proving I could handle
anything thrown at me.
Now I was sitting beside my husband, surrounded by family and friends, while our child kicked
beneath my hand.
It felt almost unreal and Jace looked at me.
“You’re tired.” He said.
“I’m fine.” I said.
“You’ve been saying that for the last hour.” He said.
“Because I’m fine.” I said and he raised an eyebrow and I laughed.
“Okay, maybe I’m a little tired.” I admitted.
“A little?” He asked.
“Don’t push it.” I said and he kissed my temple.
“I’ll get you home soon.” He said as I looked across the grounds.
“Not yet.” I said.
“Why?” He asked.
“Because I don’t want today to end.” I said and his expression softened.
“It doesn’t have to.” He said.
Before I could answer, Ben approached. He looked like something was on his mind.

CHAPTER 254 1
“Everything okay?” I asked and he nodded.
“Yeah. Actually, I wanted to talk to you about something.” He said and I smiled.
“You’re not about to scare me again, are you?” I asked and he laughed.
“No.” He said.
“Good, because I’ve had enough surprises for one day.” I said and Ben pulled up a chair.
“I’ve been thinking about what you said earlier.” He said.
“What did I say?” I asked.
“About the future.” He said and I looked at him.
“I want to own a workshop someday.” He said and I smiled.
“I know.” I said and his eyebrows lifted.
“You remember?” He asked.
“You told me a while ago.” I said.
“I mean, I’ve been thinking about it seriously.” He said and I nodded.
“That’s good.” I said.
“I don’t want to spend the rest of my life just working for somebody else.” He said.
“Not that I don’t want to work for you.” He quickly added.
“I know.” I said.
“I love Lawson Customs.” He said.
“You gave me a chance when I didn’t have much experience, and I’ve learned more here than I ever expected.” He added and I smiled.
“But eventually, I want something that’s mine.” He continued.
“Then build it.” I said and Ben looked surprised.
“You really think I can?” He asked.
“I know you can.” I said.
“I’ve still got a lot to learn.” He said.
“So do I.” I said and he laughed.

CHAPTER 254 1
“You’re Paige Lawson. You built your place.” He said.
“And I made plenty of mistakes doing it.” I said as he studied me.
“So what would you do if I actually wanted to start planning?” He asked.
“I’d help you.” I said and his expression changed.
“Seriously?” He asked.
“Seriously. I’ll mentor you.” I said and Ben stared at me.
