Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 483
CHAPTER 254-2
Yeah. You helped me when I started here, and you’ve taught me plenty.” Aiden said and Ben laughed.
“I haven’t taught you that much.” Ben said.
“You have.” Aiden said and I looked between them.
“You two could make a good team.” I said and Ben frowned.
“Don’t start.” Ben said and I laughed.
“I’m serious.” I said as Aiden smiled.
“Then maybe we should start planning.” Aiden said.
“I’ve thought about it too.” He added and Ben looked surprised.
“You’d work with me?” Ben asked.
“Eventually, but we’re not buying some falling-down building with a leaking roof.” Aiden said and
Ben smiled.
“You don’t get to decide that.” Ben said.
“I absolutely do if I’m helping you.” Aiden said and I laughed.
“You two are going to be impossible.” I said.
“Probably.” Ben said and Jace finally spoke.
“I think you should do it.” Jace said and Ben looked at him.
“You do?” Ben asked.
“Yeah. Paige built this place because she believed in something bigger than herself, and if you want to do the same, you should.” Jace said and Ben smiled.
“Thanks.” Ben said.
I watched them talking, and something inside me shifted.
For years, I’d worried about protecting Lawson Customs and keeping Uncle Will’s dream alive.
Now I was watching Ben dream about building something of his own. That was when I realized
Lawson Customs had become more than a business.
It had become a starting point, where people learned, grew, and eventually had the chance to build

something themselves.
Uncle Will had started with almost nothing, and I had taken what he left behind and built something more.
Maybe Ben would do the same. Maybe Aiden would one day build something too. Maybe that was what a legacy really meant.
It wasn’t about keeping everything unchanged. It was about giving the next person enough to build something better.
“What are you thinking about?” Jace asked.
“Uncle Will.” I said and his expression softened.
“And Lawson Customs.” I said as I looked around at everyone.
“Do you remember when I thought it was just a business?” I asked and Jace smiled.
“You never really thought that.” He said.
“I did.” I said.
“You cared about everyone who walked through those doors.” He said and I looked toward Mia.
She was standing near the workshop with Emma and Sophia.
“Mia.” I said as Jace followed my gaze.
“What about her?” He asked and I smiled.
“She needs to hear something.” I said.
I stood carefully, and Jace immediately reached for my hand.
“I’ve got you.” He said.
“I can walk.” I said.
“I know.” He said but he still held my hand as we walked over to Mia.
“Mia, can I talk to you?” I asked.
“Sure.” She said so we stepped away from the others.
“I’ve been thinking about how much you’ve taken on.” I said and Mia laughed.
“I’ve just been doing my job.” She said.
“You’ve been doing much more than that.” I said and she looked at me curiously.

“Paige?” She asked.
“want to promote you.” I said and her eyes widened.
“Promote me?” She asked.
“Yes. You’re becoming Operations Manager for both Lawson Customs locations.” I said and she
stared at me.
“You mean that?” She asked.
“I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t.” I said and her eyes filled with tears.
“Paige.” She said.
“You’ve earned it.” I said.
“But that’s a huge responsibility.” She said.
“I know, but you won’t be doing it alone.” I said.
“What if I mess up?” She asked.
“Then we’ll fix it.” I said.
She laughed through her tears before hugging me.
“Thank you.” She said.
“You deserve it.” I said.
When we returned to everyone, I announced the promotion and Ben grinned.
“That’s huge.” Ben said and Aiden nodded.
“Well deserved.” Aiden said.
Emma and Sophia immediately hugged Mia, while Jace smiled proudly and Mia wiped her eyes.
“I don’t even know what to say.” Mia said.
“You can start by enjoying your promotion.” I said and she laughed.
“I’ll try.” She said so I stepped back and looked around.
My husband, my friends, my employees, and my family were all standing together.
These were the people who had helped me survive the worst period of my life, and they were the same people who had helped Lawson Customs survive with me.
“This place isn’t just mine anymore.” I said as Jace looked at me.

CHAPTER 254 2
“What do you mean?” He asked.
“It’s a family legacy.” I said and I smiled.
“Uncle Will started it.” I added as I looked toward Ben.
“Then I carried it forward.” I said. I looked at Mia, Aiden, and the others.
“And now everyone here is helping shape what comes next.” I said and Jace wrapped an arm
around me.
“Your baby is going to grow up hearing about all of this.” Jace said and I smiled.
“Maybe one day they’ll walk through those doors and wonder why their mother was so stubborn. said and Jace laughed.
“They’ll probably hear the answer from everyone here.” He said as I leaned against him.
“I hope they do.” I said.
The evening continued peacefully until an older voice came from behind us.
“Well, this looks like the perfect time to make another suggestion.” George said and I turned.
George Miller stood near the entrance to the clubhouse. He had his motorcycle helmet tucked under one arm, and there was a familiar smile on his face.
“George?” I asked as he walked closer.
“I’ve been watching all of you celebrate today, and it got me thinking.” He said.
“About what?” I asked.
He looked toward the motorcycles parked nearby.
