Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 485

CHAPTER 255-2

He used to bring me here.” I said.

“I know.” He said and I looked at him.

“You knew?” I asked and George smiled.

“He talked about you constantly.” George said and I laughed.

“That doesn’t surprise me.” I said as George leaned against the railing.

“Will once told me that you were the stubbornest person he’d ever met.” He said and I smiled.

“He wasn’t wrong.” I said.

“He said you got that from him.” He said and I laughed.

“Definitely.” I said.

Everyone relaxed as George started telling stories.

Some were funny. Some were embarrassing and some made me emotional.

He told us about Will’s first motorcycle, which apparently had been in terrible condition when he

bought it.

“He swore he could make it run.” George said.

“Did he?” I asked.

“Eventually.” He said and I laughed.

“How long did it take?” I asked and George smiled.

“Three months.” He said and Aiden laughed.

“That’s not too bad.” Aiden said as George looked at him.

“Three months because he kept taking it apart again.” George said and everyone laughed while Ben shook his head.

“That sounds familiar.” Ben said and I looked at him.

“You’re already learning from him.” I said and Ben smiled.

“Apparently.” Ben said.

George continued with another story.

CHAPTER 255 2

Will had once ridden through a storm because he refused to leave a stranded friend behind.

He had arrived soaked from head to toe, furious about the weather, and still stopped to repair the

other man’s motorcycle.

That was Uncle Will. He never left people behind.

I looked around at the Iron Vipers. That same principle had carried through the club.

They protected their own. They stood together. They showed up.

Even when things were difficult. Even when fear would have been easier.

I looked at Jace and he was watching me.

“What?” I asked.

“You look happy.” He said.

“I am.” I said and he smiled.

“Good.” He said.

We continued the ride after everyone had shared their stories.

The next stretch of road took us past an old bridge, then through a small country town before winding back toward the highway.

The scenery changed constantly, but the feeling remained the same.

Peace.

For the first time in years, peace didn’t feel temporary. It felt real.

Eventually, George turned toward Lawson Customs and I recognized the road immediately.

My heart warmed as the familiar building came into view.

The convoy pulled into the parking area, and everyone parked their motorcycles outside the workshop.

I climbed off Jace’s bike carefully and he immediately reached for my hand.

“I’ve got you.” He said.

“I know.” I said and he smiled.

We walked toward the workshop together.

The doors were open and inside, Uncle Will’s restored motorcycle stood exactly where we’d placed

walked toward it.

The polished metal caught the afternoon sunlight. I rested my fingers against the handlebars.

“Do you think he’d like this?” I asked as Jace came up beside me.

“I know he would.” Jace said and George walked into the workshop.

“He’d probably complain about how we parked the bikes.” George said and I laughed,

“Definitely.” I said and George smiled.

“But he’d love seeing everyone here.” George said as I looked around.

Ben was talking with Aiden. Mia was helping Emma and Sophia bring drinks inside. Charles stood near Victoria and Charlotte and Jace remained beside me.

Diesel wandered through the workshop wearing his usual collar, sniffing everything as though he was personally inspecting the event.

“This is exactly what he wanted.” I said and Jace looked at me.

“What?” Jace asked.

“A place where people could come together.” I said as I looked around the workshop.

“He wanted to build something that lasted.” I added as Jace took my hand.

“He did.” Jace said and I looked toward Uncle Will’s motorcycle.

“I think he’d be proud.” I said.

“He would.” Jace said as I leaned against Jace.

The workshop filled with conversation again. Stories continued. People laughed. Memories were

shared.

And somehow, Uncle Will felt closer than he had in years.

I looked toward the old photograph hanging above the workbench.

“You did good, Uncle Will.” I said as my voice was quiet.

“I think we did good.” I said and Jace kissed my temple.

“We did.” Jace said and I smiled.

The day had become exactly what George promised.
