Jade’s pov

“Are you sure that you don’t remember anything?” I asked Terrence who nodded at this.

“Okay, there is no problem. Just rest up and if you need anything please let me know,” I said and

then walked out of the room.

“Let me explain myself,” Dante said and I sighed at this.

“Not now, I am just tired and I need some air,” I said and walked off.

Terrence was my only hope of being able to track down that man. But now how will I even do it?

And Dante has been acting really weird, I should look into it as well.

Not only that, but I get the feeling that he has been hiding something from me. But where do I even

start with all of this?

“Are you okay?” Addison asked me and I nodded.

I looked at her, she worrying about me when she should be having the time of her life.

She just got engaged the day I stayed back home.

“Don’t worry, my engagement party can wait until you figure this out,” she said and I shook my head

at this.

“No, this is your big day and you deserve to be happy. Organize your engagement party and make it as big as you want,” I said and she smiled at this.

“My little brother is coming to visit,” she said and I frowned a little at this and she chuckled.

“No, I think enough time has gone by,” I said and she laughed even more.

“You are scared that he would still be obsessed with you?” she asked me and I nodded.

David has had a crush on me ever since he was young.

He would ask me out any chance he got which was weird.

I only saw him as a little brother considering that he is Addison’s younger brother.

And if he still does have a crush on me and he is as persistent as always then it’s a problem.

Dante has started acting all possessive and weird, which might get David in trouble.

Instead of getting answers to some of the questions I have, I seem to be getting more questions

Fine, I will handle what I can control right now and not anything else.

I went straight to Dante’s office and he looked at me with a smile on his face.

“Miss me already?” he asked me.

“I need to check something with you first, is that okay?” I asked him and he nodded.

I organized everything and had him sit in the circle and he looked at me confused.

“What are we doing?” he asked me.

“I am trying to see if any magic was used on you. Ever since I came back home, you have been acting really weird,” I answered and he was about to say something but stopped.

Sasha was angry when she left home, she isn’t good with spells but she is still a witch.

And I think one of the reasons she never got good was because she lacked motivation.

I closed my eyes and focused but there was no magic inside Dante.

“Are you hiding something from me?” I asked him and he smiled.

He pulled me into his arms and then kissed my forehead.

“Do you trust me?” he asked me and I nodded.

“I trust you with my life,” I answered which made him smile.

“Good, I will explain everything once I get the answers,” he said and I looked at him and nodded.

“Addison’s little brother is here,” Dante said and we went downstairs to greet David.

I made sure to hold Dante’s hand so that he doesn’t do anything stupid.

“Hello Jade, don’t I look good?” David asked me and I rolled my eyes at this.

“You are probably regretting all those times you rejected me,” he said and I nodded at this.

“I don’t think I will ever be able to live with myself,” I answered which made him grin even more.

Chapter 110 Unknown Every

I felt as Dante’s hold on my hand got tighter as he was staring at poor David.

Then if magic wasn’t used on him then why is he acting so weird?

I mean he was possessive before but not like this.

This seems like it’s gone too far and I hate that I can’t figure out why.

We had dinner and I thought of going to check on Terrence before going to bed.

As I was heading there, I found Olivia sitting alone outside the clinic.

“Are you okay?” I asked her and she nodded at this.

But she didn’t seem okay so I sat down next to her and she sighed at this.

“My brother, he is the only family I know but he has been gone for about 5 years now. It feels like I don’t know him anymore,” she said and I nodded.

“It happens, people grow and when we are closer to them we don’t see it. But that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t love you anymore,” I explained and she nodded at this.

“This just means that you will get to know them again. That you will get to understand each other once again and make new memories,” I added.

I looked at her, that wasn’t the only thing that was bothering her at all.

“Mom and Dad asked me to protect him.

And he got so badly injured that he almost died. I have failed them,” she said and I shook my head

at this.

“You couldn’t have known. And he is okay and alive right now,” I said and she nodded and then

looked up with a sigh.

“If that is the case then why do I feel like this?

Why do I have a feeling that this is the calmness before the storm?” she asked and I looked at her.

Everyone here seems so carefree as If they don’t realize the gravity of the situation that we are in

right now.

Well, I also have this feeling that whatever it is that madman was planning has started.

But what is it?

I hate fighting against an enemy that I don’t know at all.

Because how do I predict what they will do next when I know nothing about them?

After my talk with Olivia, I went in to check on her brother and found him sleeping.

I checked on him to make sure that everything was okay and when I was walking off he suddenly grabbed my arm.

“What’s wrong?” I asked him and he just shrugged a bit at this.

“What is that on your shoulder?” he asked after some time and I looked at him confused.

I was wearing a sleeveless dress because it’s a little warm out there.

“Is there something on my shoulder?” I asked him and he nodded at this.

I watched as his eyes darkened and he looked at me with a frown.

“I thought you were married to Dante,” he said and I nodded at this.

“Yes, I am Dante’s wife. Why are you saying all of this?” I asked him and he just sighed.

“You have an imprint on your shoulder. Only Lycans can imprint on people,” he said and I looked at

him even more confused.

Me, an imprint on my shoulder?

How is that even possible?

I looked around for a mirror and had a look on my shoulder.

And he was right, there it was, an imprint on my shoulder and I knew by the shape who caused it.

But how is this even possible?
