8 Chapter 24 NARUT

“You want us to consumate our marriage, I am a little tired but I can do a couple of rounds. Will three be enough?” I asked her and her heart started beating like crazy.

My hand started going under her shirt and she closed her eyes for a second.

***k Dante, I was supposed to only be tormenting her but here I am suffering along with her.

I was about to kiss her when she suddenly got up from the couch.

“You are right, I should sleep on the bed. I mean this is my room,” she said with a chuckle and ran to the bed.

I just found myself smiling at her actions.

She covered her entire body and face with a blanket.

After a few minutes she uncovered herself and then looked at me.

“A friend of mine sent me a book recommendation. It’s an audio book, is it alright if I played it? I don’t like using headphones in bed,” she said and I nodded.

“There is no problem, go ahead,” I said and she nodded.

She then too her phone and pressed a few things and an audio started playing.

She got comfortable in bed and started listening and I did the same.

I closed my eyes and listened while hoping to somehow fall asleep.

But I don’t think it is possible, the object of all my desires in the same room as me.

The things I did in my dreams, I really want to re-enact them with her right now.

I want to f**k her senselessly and that’s all I can think about.

I opened my eyes when the book suddenly took an interesting turn.

I looked at Jade whose eyes were now wide open as well.

“No, why would Addison recommend a smut book?” I heard ask herself.

Her eyes landed her and she chuckled nervously.

“I don’t read such books, a friend sent me the recommendation, I had no idea that they do these things,” she explained.

I watched as she scrambled to take her phone but it wasn’t working at all.

I found myself laughing at her panicked expression and how she was fumbling about.

She finally stopped the audio and then looked at once again.

“I don’t read smut,” she said and I chuckled as I nodded.

“You are just on a whole other level, you listen to it,” I said and watched as her eyes widened again as I was laughing.

She threw a pillow at me but it didn’t stop me.

“No, I had no idea. You heard the title yourself, the book sounded so completely innocent. How would I have known?” she asked me and I just shrugged.

“You know, we don’t have to listen to the audio book. I can make you moan louder than her,” I said and watched how her face turned red.

“And you call me a pervert, you are a bigger pervert,” she said and I nodded.

“But you just admitted that you also are one. So I want right, you were undressing me with your eyes. Do you want me Jade?” I asked her but this time my voice wasn’t playful.

If she says yes to then, then I will take her here and now.

Jade’s pov

“Goodnight Alpha Dante,” I said pulling my blanket and closing my eyes.

I don’t understand, I mean it makes sense that I am attracted to him.

I have been having those weird s*x dreams ever since we met.

And yes, he is a very hot and attractive guy.

But why do I get the feeling that he feels the same?

This is just lust and nothing else right?

I tried my best to sleep but I couldn’t sleep a wink.

I don’t know when I did fall asleep but I woke up the next morning at 4 am.

I looked around the room and Alpha Dante was still sleeping soundly.

I got off the bed, I will figure out a track as I run.

I went to the closet and then got changed and when I came out I found Alpha Dante sitting

“Morning,” I said and his eyes landed on mine.

“Morning,” he answered and I found myself smiling.

Gosh that morning voice gave me butterflies in my stomach.

How is it even possible that someone could have such a deep and sexy voice?

No Jade, you shouldn’t be thinking about that.

“Can I join you on your run?” he asked me and I nodded.

“I will go and get changed,” he said and then got up and went to the closet as well.

I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and washed my face.

As he was also doing the same I made the bed and folded the blankets on the couch.

“I am ready,” he said and I nodded as we went out.

“Why do you wake up so early?” he asked me and I just shrugged.

“Habits,” I answered and he looked at me and nodded.

He led the way since he knew the trail and I didn’t know.

As we were jogging I sensed something and then stopped.

“What’s wrong?” he asked me and I looked in the direction of the intrusion.

“Your pack border, is it strengthned?” I asked him and he nodded.

“Is there something wrong with it?” he asked me and I nodded.

“I could feel it’s magic, it’s as strong as it should be,” I said and he looked at me.

“Should I take you there so you can have a closer look?” he asked me and I nodded.

He led me to the border and I frowned as I looked at the work done there.

“You had a pack border before this right?” I asked him and he nodded.

“Yes, an ancestor of ours was friends with a witch. She created the first pack border and then a few months ago your sister strengthened it,” he said and I nodded.

“Is something wrong?” he asked me and I shook my head.

“No, just that I think someone tried to weaken it,” I said and then smiled.

“Good thing Sasha strengthened it, it held on nicely but there was a little damage. Is it alright if I repaired it?” I asked him and he nodded.

“Go ahead,” he gestured and I nodded as I sat down on the grass.

I looked at the border, what the f**k did Sasha do?

Why did she have to go and strengthen it when it is clear that she had no idea what she was doing?

All she did was just mess up the boarder.

So, the pack border is an invisible wall that surrounds a territory of a pack.

It’s not only the territory of a pack but even witches have one too.

This is why an alliance with witches is necessary for werewolves and vampires.

Because they can’t create such walls but only a witch can create and strengthen one.

The problem with werewolves and vampires is that they don’t know that not every witch.

They probably asked Sasha to strengthen it and she agreed.

But all she did was just mess up thing even further.

Right now all I can do is damage control, that explains why an evil spirit was able to enter.

“When did my sister strengthen the boarder?” I asked Alpha Dante.

“About a few months ago, a few days after we got married,” he answered and I nodded.

I was trying my best so he couldn’t see how disappointed and angry I was.

How can she f**k up so badly?

This is even more serious than I thought.

Should I talk to Sasha first or should I tell Alpha Dante?

If it has been that long then I think we will have an even bigger problem that we would like.

It has been established that someone is targeting Alpha Dante or his pack.

That is why a spy was sent here, if they could send one spirit then they could send more.

That’s the annoying thing about those evil spirits, there is no end to them.

Witches have been alive since the dawn of time.

All those witches that died, those that had a lot of grievances and grudges against the world.

It is just too much to count, especially if you think about the history of witches.

The way their powers were feared and they were hunted by vampires and werewolves.

The massacres of innocent witches, if you die an unfair death it doesn’t matter how kind you

are.

You are bound to hold a grudge and want revenge against those that killed you.

And that ladies and gentleman is how evil spirits are born.

A pack with a weak boarder like this wouldn’t be able to destroy them.

Let me explain this the best way I can.

This border, it’s duty or work is to keep things out that belong out.

Like evil spirits, a weak spirit can’t inflitrate a strong boarder.

It depends all on the strengths of both if you think about it.

If the evil spirit is powerful, then they can get through any boarder.

These are the spirits that are almost impossible to banish back to hell.

These are the spirits that have been around for centuries and running things in the dark.

But with what Sasha did, a spirit that was only summoned a few days ago can get through without a problem.

If the border was strong, then that evil spirit would have been forced out of Ben’s body the moment he walked in.

You see my dilemma?

It is going to take more than this to repair the damage I see here.

What I doing now is nothing but a band aid solution.

This is bad, Sasha should have been honest and told them that she had no idea how to do it.

Then Ben would still be alive and they wouldn’t be in this position.

If one got through, the chances are that more got through as well.

Borders are designed to keep bad things out but things that are on the outside.

Once you get in, then nothing can stop you.

Just how many other spirits got through the border?

Should I tell them?

This will look bad for Sasha, I can’t ruin things for her like that.

But then what do I do?
