Dante’s pov

I pulled away and looked at Jade.

Gosh, she is beautiful, “Why are you looking at me like that?” she asked blushing.

Her face which was already red started turning a little redder.

“You are beautiful, have I ever told you that?” I asked her and she thought about it.

“I think you have said it once,” she answered with a smile.

I placed a hand under her chin and made her look up at me.

“What things did you want me to do to you?” I asked her and she blushed even more.

“Well, not what you did that night. Kissing my forehead and covering me with a blanket,” she answered and I chuckled.

“I still regret that day even today,” I said and she then smiled.

and she looked at me.

“Judging by the way your body responds to my touch. It might happen sooner than you think,” I

answered and she scoffed.

“What?” I asked her and she just shrugged.

“You talk like I am the only one who feels this. You feel it too don’t you?” she asked me.

Should I tell her that I have been feeling it ever since I met her?

She looked at her watch and then frowned.

“I should go back to work,” she said and I frowned.

“Let me call Dr Jones, I will tell her that you are busy,” I suggested and she looked at me.

“Busy doing what?” she asked me and I pouted.

“Spending time with your husband,” I said and she smiled at this.

I looked at her and I shook my head.

She took my hand and I watched as she put it under her shirt.

She stopped when I reached her breast and then looked at me.

I found myself smiling at her negotiation skills,

“Deal,” I said and then kissed her and squeezed,

I deepened the kiss when I heard her moan and wrapped her legs around me,

She suddenly pushed me and then got off the table.

“Have a good day Alpha Dante,” she said and I sighed as I looked at her.

I took the flower that fell from her hair and then helped place it back.

She then just turned and almost ran out of the room.

I think she was scared that I would ask her to stay back or maybe she wanted to stay back.

My Mom told me to find out what it is that I feel for this girl.

And the same girl who wasn’t letting me touch her came and did this.

I tried going back to work but she was on my mind.

I caught Sasha’s scent before she knocked and then came in.

“What’s wrong?” I asked her and she just sighed.

“I came to check on you. I miss you,” she said and I looked at her confused.

“How can you miss me? I am here,” I said and she sat down.

“It’s just that you have been distant,” she said and then looked up at me.

“I want you,” she said in a seductive voice.

“I told you, didn’t I? As long as Jade is here, I won’t be touching you,” I reminded her.

sighed.

She then got up and walked out of the office.

Evening came and I sat at the dinner table and looked at the door waiting for Jade to walk in.

“Isn’t Jade joining us?” Tia asked.

“No, she is having dinner with her colleagues,” Mom answered and I looked at her confused.

“Wait, she told you this and not me?” I asked Mom.

“Yes, I am the one that told Jade to always be here for meals. So when she can’t make it, I think I am the first person she should call,” she answered.

“Well, I am her husband and also Alpha,” I retorted.

nodded.

I took a bite of my food and heard laughter as the door opened.

Jade was in the middle and two men were holding her up.

“Good evening,” Andrew said as they walked in with her.

“She is a lightweight,” he added as he pointed at Jade who was now completely wasted.

“That is true,” Addison said with a chuckle.

I got up and went to them.

My eyes landed on Andrew’s hand, he had his hand on my wife’s waist.

“RIP IT OFF,” Onyx suggested.

“Bring her here,” I said and they nodded and let her go and she landed in my arms.

I really should spank her for drinking in front of other men.

Does she know how cute and seductive she looks when she is like this?

“There is the apple of my eye, my darling husband,” she said and then chuckled.

“And here is my drunk wife,” I retorted and she chuckled.

“I am not drunk, I just had a little to drink,” she said.”
