Dante’s pov

“What’s wrong?” I asked everyone and no one answered.

They were still looking at me as if I was a ghost.

“Put me down,” Jade said and I shook my head at this.

“You need to go and sleep,” I said and then took a plate of food with me.

I walked to the elevator and it was still very much quiet.

Is this because they have never seen Jade drunk?

I got to the room and put her on the couch and put the plate in front of her.

She didn’t waste any time and took the steak that was on the plate.

I smiled as I looked at her eating, she loves her meat huh?

She looked at me and then smiled.

“Thank you,” she said and I sat down next to her.

“For what?” I asked her and she thought about it and chuckled.

“I don’t know,” she said and I watched as looked at her hands.

I took them and started licking the oil off her fingers.

“We should get you to sleep now,” I said wiping her hands with a paper towel.

I helped her to get on the bed and she shook her head.

“I am uncomfortable in these clothes. Can you take them off?” she asked me.

I looked at her brown eyes, so innocent and at the same time seductive.

Is she doing this on purpose?

Well, she is wearing jeans and a shirt, she can’t sleep in jeans I get that much.

“What will you wear?” I asked her and she just sighed.

“I want to wear your shirt,” she answered and I nodded.

I went to the closet and got a shirt for her and then came back.

It’s just clothes, I have seen her naked before and I was able to control myself.

I did as she said and got her dressed in my shirt.

She suddenly opened her eyes and then looked at me.

Her hands were gently touching my face as she said this.

Fine, I forgive her for everything she put me through tonight.

“I know, but it’s nice hearing it,” I said and she nodded.

“Now sleep, it’s very late,” I said and tried to tuck her in.

Instead, she pulled me towards her, “hold me,” she said.

She gets a little clingy when she is drunk, doesn’t she?

I got on the bed and wrapped my hands around her.

She buried her head on my chest and her hand wrapped around my waist.

“No more terrible nightmares,” I said to Onyx who was now fully awake.

“No more terrible nightmares,” he said and I gave him control over my body so I could sleep.

I woke up in the morning and Jade was still sound asleep.

She was snoring and I found myself smiling at this.

I got ready for the day and didn’t want to wake her up.

She was sleeping so soundly, she had been working nonstop ever since she got here.

I did my morning run, got showered, and did some work before going downstairs to have

“Isn’t Jade coming?” Mom asked me and I shook my head.

“She is still sleeping,” I answered and the elevator door opened revealing Jade.

“Did I smell bacon?” she asked the moment she stepped out.

“Yes, and you must have a really bionic nose,” Addison said with a chuckle.

I looked at Jade and what she was wearing.

She was still wearing my shirt and the jeans she wore yesterday.

She looked like she just threw on the first thing she could find.

“Morning,” she said as she sat down.

“Really Jade? Could you make a little effort? You are a mess,” Sasha said.

“What? I did put this flower on my head and brushed my teeth. What else do you want?” Jade

asked confused.

She didn’t even try to brush her hair, she just put the flower on her disheveled hair.

Jade’s pov

“Is that the same flower as yesterday’s?” Sasha asked me and I shook my head.

“It’s the same kind of flower but this is a new one,” I answered and looked at Alpha Dante.

I woke up this morning with a fresh flower on his side of the bed.

I slept like a baby in his arms all night.

“I have been meaning to ask you something,” she said looking at Alpha Dante.

“Okay, what is it?” he asked her and she placed her hand on his.

“The event today, we will play games together with the other couples?” she asked him.

I tried to act like I didn’t care but I looked at Alpha Dante to see his reaction.

“Games, do we have to?” he asked her and she nodded.

“We are the hosts, it would look weird if we didn’t,” she explained and he sighed but nodded. “Okay then, I wouldn’t mind playing a few games,” he answered and I watched how happy Sasha

“Games, it should be fun,” I said and everyone turned to look at me.

“You are going?” Nick asked me and I nodded.

“Yes, but sister said something really interesting yesterday,” I said with a smile.

an Alpha,” I replied.

“An Alpha, why is that?” Piers asked me and I just shrugged.

“Then I could strike a new deal with my Coven,” I answered.

“A new deal?” Alpha Dante asked looking at me.

“Yes, if I am mated to an Alpha. That would make me his Luna right? Then we could start an alliance with the coven and this deal would end. I mean being a Luna is better than being a

glorified mistress,” I explained.

The entire room went silent and Sasha’s eyes widened when she realized that this could ruin her

plans.

“Wait, but what about me?” she asked me and I looked at her confused.

“What about you?” I asked her and she sighed as she looked at Alpha Dante.

It was like she was expecting him to say something.

I heard Addison chuckle at this and wink at me.

“Well, we should go shopping then. You need to look hot for the event,” she said and I nodded.

“I would love that,” I said.

“You would leave this deal that easily?” Mrs Odell suddenly asked me and I nodded.

“Yes,” I answered and she sighed at this.

“Why?” Alpha Dante suddenly asked me.

“Come on, let’s go shopping,” Addison said as she got up.

I went to my room first because I needed to freshen up.

When I got out of the bathroom I found Alpha Dante sitting on the couch.

“Are you looking forward to leaving me?” he asked me.

“I am lost, what are you talking about?” I asked him.

Well, it seems I also got to him as well.

Now that I think about it, there is something I can do to ruin Sasha’s night.
