Jade’s pov

I looked at Alpha Dante who was just avoiding my gaze.

“You did something,” I said and he sighed and kissed my forehead.

“I will see you later,” he said and practically ran out of the room.

A few minutes ago I was hellbent on going to that event and now I don’t.

No, this doesn’t make sense at all.

The door opened and Addison walked in with a smile on her face.

I went to the mirror to look at the mark he left on my

neck.

I closed my eyes and started chanting a spell.

“You are here,” Sasha said as she held my hand.

“You look really good,” she said but my attention was on Jade.

What the hell is doing here?

I watched as she raised the glass of wine she was holding with a smile.

“Yes, everything is fine,” I said and tried to pay attention to my mate.

“The games are about to start,” Sasha said and I nodded.

“You are beautiful,” the guy said as he was leaning in to kiss her

I pulled him away and smashed his head on the wall.

“You sure took your time. He almost kissed me,” Jade said with a smile.

I looked at her, she did this on purpose?

“You did this on purpose,” I said and she nodded.

“Why?” I asked her and she just shrugged.

“Are you going to kiss me or should I get someone else to do it?” she asked me.

She didn’t have to say another word because I had already captured her lips in mine.

When I pulled away she looked at me with a pout.

“Let’s go home,” she said tugging at my shirt and I nodded and took her hand.

The moment we got to our room she had her hands all over my body.

I picked her up and sat on the couch with her on my lap.

When we pulled away for some air I looked at her.

“I feel like I am forgetting something,” I said and she smiled.

“I know,” she said and then started unbuttoning my shirt.

She messed up my air a little and then smiled.”
