Dante’s pov

“What are you talking about?” I asked Vanessa knowing full well what she was talking about.

“He is the reason that Ben guy died,” Vanessa answered and I watched as the room went silent.

Well, she obviously wouldn’t know Ben because he died before she was even here.

Which can only mean one thing, she is telling the truth.

“You think everyone will just believe your word. Do you even have proof?” Jade asked her.

“Yes, I have proof of everything that happened,” Vanessa answered.

“Go to my room and get my laptop and phone. The proof is all in there,” she added.

I looked at Stephen who was just tongue-tight as he stood there.

“Why aren’t you saying something? Tell them that she is lying,” Jade said.

“He can’t because he knows that I am telling the truth,” Vanessa said.

I observed Stephen very carefully and I guessed what his next step was going to be.

He ran at his top speed towards Vanessa but I quickly blocked him.

“So she is telling the truth, is that why you want to kill her?” I asked him.

He glared down at me but all I did was just smile.

“I am actually happy you came back, dear cousin. Because this time, I will get to get rid of you for good,” I said.

“You can’t kill me, I am stronger than you,” he said and I nodded.

“I do wonder about that, could it be possible that maybe you were wrong about it?” I asked him.

“Today I am going to show you that you aren’t as smart as you think,” I added. T

he laptop and phone we bought downstairs and Vanessa went through them.

She then started playing a video, and in that video, was her and Stephen.

They were in bed together and he was telling her his plans.

“I really wish I was a fly in that pack. I would use any information I get to destroy that Dante,”

Stephen said.

She explained to him how it works and he chuckled at this.

“But the border has a magical barrier,” Stephen said and Vanessa started laughing as well.

she could do it,” Vanessa said with a smile.

“This is why I love you, and I have the perfect plan on who we can use,” Stephen said and the video

ended.

All eyes in the room turned to him and he was clearly surprised.

He didn’t know that she was recording him back then.

“Yes, and that is how I met Ben at a club. Apparently he went there once in a while. I seduced him

back to my place and planted the spirit inside him,” Vanessa explained.

“You were recording me all this time?” Stephen asked fuming.

“This isn’t the only one, there is more,” Vanessa retorted.

“Did you think I was stupid? I was supposed to believe that meeting me was a coincidence?”

Vanessa asked with a chuckle.

“You looked for me, you knew my friend was mated to Dante. I am not an i***t, I knew your motives all along. But I played along because I wanted to be Luna,” Vanessa added.

“Well, you are an even bigger i***t than I thought,” Stephen retorted.

“You just revealed everything, and now both of us are doomed,” he added.

“Actually, you both are idiots,” Jade said and they all turned to look at her.

She was done copying the videos from Vanessa’s laptop.

I walked towards Jade and pulled her into my arms.

“Yes, the both of you just got played,” I said and kissed Jade’s forehead.

“It’s actually amazing, I mean she somehow managed to guess all your moves,” Felix said looking

at Jade in awe.

“She is awesome like that,” Addison said as she winked at Jade.

“Wait a second, what are you saying?” Vanessa asked.

“That we knew that you guys were partners in crime,” Jade answered.

“Actually let me explain, Jade sensed the dark magic that was inside Stephen the first time she

met him,” Addison explained.

“And the only way a werewolf could have dark magic inside them is if they are sleeping with a

witch,” Jade said.

“And the other night, I saw you sneaking into Stephen’s room and it all made sense,” Jade added.

“That night Jade told me what she saw and she came up with a plan. She knew that you would jump at any opportunity to hurt me. So when Jade and I started fighting you just couldn’t wait to ruin me,” I explained looking at Stephen.

“Wait, so you and Jade fighting wasn’t real?” Alec asked and I shook my head and looked at the girl

in my arms.

“How can one fight with this cutie?” I asked and she rolled her eyes at this.

“So, the plan was to drive you to act impulsively without consulting your partner in crime,” I

continued.

“Which is exactly what you did last night when you asked me to marry you. You acted without thinking and that created a rift between you and your girlfriend,” Jade supported.

“All I needed to do was to press some buttons. Which we did last night when you came to my room with Sasha,” Addison said pointing at Vanessa.

“We knew you had an inferiority complex and we used it against you. Hence why we reminded you how you are nothing,” she added.

“Wait, you were all in on it?” Sasha asked looking at me.

“Why didn’t you tell me anything?” she asked me.

“Because you would have reacted emotionally. I couldn’t risk it,” I answered and watched how she

looked down.

“Wait, but my son is still poisoned,” My mother said.

“So even this was part of your little plan?” Mrs Bennet asked looking at Jade.

“Your son is going to be fine. I am guessing it’s nothing big,” she added.

“Yes Mom, I received an antidote last night,” Nick suddenly spoke up.

“Wait what? But how did you know she was going to poison Nick? It could have been any one of us,

”

Alec pointed out.

“That is where we come in. She wanted to narrow down who Vanessa was going to poison. So

when around her, we made sure that she was aware of how Nick can pose a threat,” Piers

explained.

“How is Nick a threat?” Olivia asked.

“Because he is the exact same age as my nephew. If Dante was no longer Alpha, Nick could easily become one if he married my nephew and the alliance would be saved,” Mrs Bennett explained.

“Don’t act like you are smart, you couldn’t have known that I was going to use poison,” Vanessa

retorted.

“You heard what Mom said, the weak use poison. You are weak so I knew you would go there,”

Jade answered.

“Wait, wait a second. But how did the poison end up in Jade’s room?” my mother asked.

“Well, last night I made it a point to go to Sasha’s bedroom to get a blanket. I told her I couldn’t sleep in the same room as Jade. And I will be sleeping in my office, she tried to convince me to sleep in her room but I didn’t,” I explained.

“We knew that if he refused to sleep in her room, then Sasha would go and whine to her best friend,

Addison said.

“And knowing that I was sleeping in Addison’s room and my room was empty. I figured you would

“Now that everyone knows what happened. I guess this would be the time for your punishment,” I

said.

I walked to the kitchen and then got a knife and cut my hand.

“I Alpha Dante Odell of the Blood Moon Pack, banish you Stephen Odell from this pack and hereby declare you a rouge,” I said firmly.

I watched as Stephen fell on the ground and he started screaming.

“Take them away from this pack, and I never want to see you again,” I said.

“Wait,” Sasha said and I watched as she walked towards Vanessa.

“Why? Why did you betray me like that?” she asked her.
