Dante’s pov

“You damn wolf, didn’t I tell you to be gentle?” I asked Onyx who sighed at this.

“I was gentle, what else do you expect? This was me being gentle,” he answered and I looked at

Jade.

Her entire body was covered in bite marks that Onyx left on her body.

“If you keep doing this, then trust me this will be the last time,” I warned him.

“I have my reasons for leaving those marks. And don’t you dare threaten me,” Onyx retorted.

“Jade, are you okay?” Onyx asked her and she looked at us and smiled.

“Yes, I am just a little tired,” she said as she was lying down on the couch.

“Do you hear that? She is fine, and whenever I do it I make sure I take away her pain. She doesn’t feel anything but pleasure, I love her too you know and I would never hurt her,” Onyx said and I

sighed.

He loves her too, sometimes I guess I forget that he also has feelings.

This is the first time he is telling me directly but I figured it out when he told her.

He couldn’t open up to her and said a bunch of stuff and played it off.

I got up and got dressed, took a blanket, and covered Jade’s body.

She looks so fragile with almost no muscles on her body.

I heard that she hardly eats well unless you force her.

One of the reasons she eats well here is because my mother doesn’t want to listen to any excuses.

We need to get strong and capable, she needs to learn how to fight.

I will protect her with my life but I would feel even better if she can protect herself.

“Jade, I was thinking, would you like to go to the pack training grounds with me?” I asked her and

she looked at me.

“But I have work,” she said and I smiled at this.

“Yes, before work,” I said and she nodded.

“Okay, wake me up when dinner is ready,” she said and then drifted to sleep.

I looked at the time and then at her before smiling.

Dinner was ready an hour ago, I don’t think she realizes this but we have been at it for hours.

She only came here for a quickie which turned out to be more.

I kissed her forehead as she drifted off to sleep and I could hear her snore.

I caught Addison’s scent and a few seconds later there was a knock on the door.

“Come in,” I said and she walked in and her eyes landed on Jade who was fast asleep.

“You didn’t come down for dinner, so I put it away in the microwave. She will wake up hungry,” she

informed me and I nodded.

She walked towards Jade and brushed her hair off her face.

“If you hurt her, then I am going to kill you,” she said and then looked at me.

I could see how serious she was and I couldn’t help but smile at this.

Now that is loyalty, she is even threatening an Alpha.

“I would never hurt her, I love her,” I said and she looked at me surprised.

“You do what?” she asked me and I nodded with a smile.

“I love her,” I repeated myself and she looked at Jade then back at me.

I picked up Jade and took her to our room.

I opened my eyes when I felt Jade move next to me.

I looked at her and watched how she grinned as she looked at me.

“I am hungry,” she said and I smiled at this.

“Come on, let’s go and eat,” I said and we went downstairs and I warmed up the food.

We stayed in the kitchen and ate the food there.

“Addison threatened me,” I told her and she chuckled at this.

“She meant every word, so don’t cross her,” Jade answered.

“I can never cross her, your friendship with her seems really special,” I said and she nodded.

“I was friends with Tommy and Addison ever since we were kids. Even when my mother

“There are people that I will always love more than you,” she said and I frowned.

“Who? I will kill that person right now,” I said and she continued laughing.

“Our kids,” she said and I found myself smiling at this.

“No, you shouldn’t love them more than you love me,” I said and she rolled her eyes.

“Why not?” she asked me and I sighed.

“Because I want you to love me more. Actually, let’s not have kids, they will take away all your attention,” I added and she chuckled at this.

“I will always make time for you. Plus your mom is here, she will take care of the kids,” she said and

I nodded at this.

We talked further about kids and how many she thinks we should have.

The next morning I woke up and started making some food.

Jade said that she was craving chocolate muffins so I wanted to make fresh ones for her.

“Okay, what is going on?” Felix asked as I was busy putting everything on the table.

“Is something going on?” I asked him and he looked at Nick.

“You were whistling and dancing around,” Nick pointed out.

“I am just happy,” I said and then Jade walked into the room.

“Here is my beautiful wife,” I said as I pulled her in for a kiss.

She looked at me confused, “you said you were craving chocolate muffins so I made you something,” I said.

“What? You are having food cravings?” Mom asked Jade who just shrugged.

“No, it was just a one-time thing,” Jade said and Mom nodded.

“Come on, sit down and energize since after this we will be going for training,” I said to Jade who

frowned.

“Training?” she asked me and I nodded.

“You agreed to join pack training starting from today, don’t you remember?” I asked her.

“But I don’t need training,” Jade said and Sasha scoffed at this.

“Why not? Are you scared that you won’t be able to keep up? I have been training for months now, you might be better with spells but in combat, I can take on high-rank werewolves,” Sasha said with

a smile.

I have seen her train, Sasha is good and can keep up with highest highest-ranking omegas.

That is saying a lot considering that she is a witch and doesn’t have our physical abilities.

“Actually, she will do it. Both of us will do it,” Addison said and then looked at Jade.

“Please do it for me. Kick their asses and show them who Jade Bennett is,” Addison said.

“It’s actually Jade Odell now,” I corrected her and looked at Jade.
