Dante’s pov

“Felix, can we talk for a second?” I asked my Beta who nodded.

“We will see you at the training grounds,” I said to Jade who nodded.

I kissed her forehead and then walked off to my

office.

“What’s wrong?” he asked me and I sighed at this.

“You remember that night? When Jade was told that we were going to get married?” I asked him

and he nodded.

“She did something to you back then. You just started screaming in pain and blood was coming

out of

your eyes and ears,” I said and he frowned.

“How can I forget that day? It was the first time in my life I have ever felt such excruciating pain,”

he said and I frowned.

I was scared that he would say that.

“What were you feeling?” I asked him and he thought about it for a second.

“As if I had a thousand needles in my blood and then it felt like my body might explode from the

pain,” he answered and I sighed.

“Can you do me a favor? Find someone to do a background check on Jade,” I said and he looked at

me confused.

“Are you suspicious of her for something?” he asked me and I shook my head.

“No, I just think there is more to her than what meets the eye,” I answered and he nodded.

Jade looks so fragile and delicate but now thinking back I might be wrong.

That night, everyone was surprised that she could make a blood contract.

Not only that but the way she was able to share her memories with everyone in the room.

That was clearly something that not every witch can do.

I need to know more about her.

“Okay Alpha, I will have someone look at it,” he said and then left the room.

I went to my room and got changed before going to the pack training.

I heard Jade ask.

She is pissed, that is why she is cursing as much as she is now.

“Come on sister, don’t be like that. Vivian is only trying to help you train,” Sasha said and I looked at

her.

She saw me coming from a distance and decided to act all sweet.

“Yes, I will have you fight with our weakest omega so we can test your skills,” Vivian said also acting sweet all of a sudden.

I am guessing she caught my scent because unlike Sasha she didn’t turn around.

I walked towards Jade who looked at me.

“Is everything okay here?” I asked her and she nodded.

I pulled her towards me and planted a kiss on her forehead.

“Well, that is good because I wouldn’t spare anyone who makes you angry,” I said and she smiled.

“I can handle myself, and Vivian, I want to fight you and not the weakest omega. You are the strongest female warrior of this pack right?” Jade asked Vivian.

“Don’t be stupid Jade, yes you are good with magic but you can’t fight Vivian,” Sasha said.

“Actually, I will do it without using magic,” Jade said and everyone was now looking at them.

“Jade, I don’t think that is a good idea,” I said.

“Oh shut up,” Addison said to me and everyone gasped at this.

No one talks to an Alpha like that, but Addison does and for some reason I let her.

“You, are you going to fight her or not?” she asked Vivian and was even pointing at her.

“Fine, but don’t even think for a second that I will go easy on you. Alpha, do I have your permission?

Vivian asked with her head bowed.

I looked at Jade who smiled and I nodded.

“You can go ahead,” I said and she nodded with a smile.

I have been wanting to see what Jade is capable of and now is the time.

Everyone moved away for a second to give them space.

I watched how Vivian smiled and I could see she had intentions of hurting Jade.

But my eyes landed on Jade who was completely calm which calmed me down.

I don’t know why, but seeing her so calm was reassuring.

I looked at Addison who seemed really excited about this.

Should I really let her fight this?

My thoughts were interrupted when Vivian suddenly started attacking Jade.

She was throwing punch after punch but none landed.

Jade was somehow dodging them and that too with ease.

She had her hands folded in like this was nothing.

This seemed to piss off Vivian even more because her attacks got more aggressive.

“Are you sure that she is your best female warrior?” Addison asked me.

“Yes,” I answered and watched how she shook her head and seemed disappointed.

“I thought that this was going to be fun but she is weak,” Addison said and then sighed.

“Jade just end it, this is no fun,” Addison yelled to her friends who looked at her.

“Okay,” Jade said and suddenly stopped.

Vivian threw her punch and Jade blocked it with her hand.

She held Vivian’s fist with her hand and looked at her.

“This is no fun,” she said and kicked Vivian in the stomach.

This sent her flying across the room and I heard as people gasped at this.

Clair

She stopped a punch from a werewolf like it was nothing and then sent her flying with a mere kick. “Change, go after her like you want to kill,” I commanded Vivian through the mind link.

She looked up and her eyes changed color to blue and her bones started cracking.

Jade turned her attention back to her opponent and she sighed.

Vivian’s wolf started running toward Jade with claws out and ready to attack.

“Well, I guess this means I can also use magic,” she said and raised her hand.

And just like that the wolf was blown away and it hit a tree.

“I would continue this fight, but Mrs Jones would probably make me heal you. So if I cause any

further injuries I will have to clean them up,” Jade said and her eyes landed on Sasha.

“I thought she was the strongest female warrior. How disappointing,” Jade said and then looked at

I looked at Vivian who was now just lying there.

document.

“What is this?” I asked him.

It was a report on rouges attack or therefore lack of.

“Ever since she came here. There has been no rouge attack at all,” Felix pointed out.

Yes, we would get a rogue attack once a week but there has been none recently.

“And she has a nickname as well. They call her a one-woman army,” he added.

A one-woman army?

Are they saying that her power is equal to that of an entire army?
