Finally, Melanie settled on one of the hosts.
However, just as she raised her hand to point at him, someone grabbed her wrist from the side.
"How can you steal my guy, Angel?"
Melanie jolted and whipped her head around.
Her eyes landed on a young man with a striking head of hair. He looked barely in his early twenties, definitely younger than her. He had a trendy cut with long bangs, dyed a brilliant silver-white. It was a pure, icy shade that screamed high-maintenance fashion.
Combined with his youthful face, Melanie momentarily wondered if he had stepped straight out of a pop idol group. His features were handsome and approachable, a charming smile playing on his lips, and his clothes were pure designer streetwear.
Yet, Melanie instinctively furrowed her brow. She didn't know why, but this silver-haired kid gave off a profoundly dangerous vibe.
Maybe it was because he still hadn't let go of her hand.
Melanie tugged her arm a few times but couldn't break his grip. She let out a cold laugh. "Kid, grabbing a woman's hand like this is a bad habit... It's a quick way to get punched."
Her gaze hardened. She wasn't weak enough to let some arrogant kid harass her.
The young man blinked, his handsome face instantly shifting into a mask of innocent hurt. "But Angel, you stole my guy first. Now you want to punch me? Isn't that a little unfair?"
He said it all without loosening his grip.
"Security!" Melanie barked without hesitation.
Finally, the young man dropped her hand.
