Brayden was sent to the hospital for testing, and he results shocked everyone.

He had cancer.

It was a very obscure type of cancer, which was why by the time it was discovered, it was already terminal.

The doctor looked somber. “Mr. Hart, the best treatment for this cancer is stem cell treatment. It would be best if you had a child. We would be able to obtain stem cells during the pregnancy to treat you. Don’t worry, it won’t have any effect on the child’s health.”

Brayden was dazed. His parents and Scarlett were beside him.

Scarlett lost her mind when she heard that Brayden was terminally ill. She completely forgot about their argument and immediately said, “I’ll have a child with you!”

She grabbed Brayden’s arm tightly. “Brayden, you don’t have to marry me or make any promises to me. I’m willing to have a child for you to save your life!”

Scarlett was sincere. They were childhood friends, and although she was manipulative, her feelings for Brayden were genuine.
