Surrogate for the Alpha Prince in a Coma novel Chapter 207

Chapter 207

Lillian’s POV

I woke up in Grayson’s arms, not feeling sweaty or gross at all. Seeing a washcloth to the side, I realized he must have cleaned us both with a damp cloth while I had been unconscious.

“Are you alright?” he asked, a hint of worry in his face.

“I’m perfect,” I told him. In truth, I was a tiny bit sore, but that was nothing compared to the pleasure I felt, to what I was looking forward to feeling again. I leaned into him and started kissing his neck.

He hummed, barely resisting, his hands tracing circles on my back. “Don’t you need some time? You are new a this. I don’t want to scare you or hurt you.”

“I’m not afraid, and I’m only a little sore.”

“Lily…”

I kissed him. “I want you, Grayson. I’m positive that’s what I want.”

“I can’t deny you,” he said. “But I will be gentler this time.”

I didn’t know if that was what I wanted, but as he rolled onto me and entered me again, I realized that was what I needed. It was perfect, and I loved it. Loved him.

He held me for the rest of the night.

In the morning I woke up late, but, as much as both of us wanted to stay in bed, we had other duties to attend to. I was expected at the training grounds, and I was certain Grayson was needed.

We showered and dressed, then kissed each other as we parted. There was something so domestic about it, despite him being a prince and me a princess. Somehow we had made this place feel like our home.

Out on the training grounds, I found Teacher near the training dummies.

“I hear congratulations are in order,” he said.

“Grayson and I are already married,” I reminded him.

“A formal wedding is different,” Teacher said. “It’s a big F you to the world, especially since he had been under such pressure to accept that alliance from the Lycan Kingdom. He must truly care for you, Lillian, I’m glad for you,”

I blushed a little. “Thank you, Teacher.”

He nodded, then clapped his hands. “Now. Show me your wolf strength. You used it to survive up on that mountain didn’t you? I can sense something’s different about you. You are stronger now. Can you shift? Do you mind showing me your wolf?”

I hadn’t shifted since the mountain, where I had almost lost myself to the call of the wild. But I trusted Teacher, and Grayson was nearby. I had a lot of reasons now to hold onto my sanity. I wasn’t going to lose myself again.

Holding onto thoughts of Grayson and the promise of our upcoming wedding, I allowed my wolf to come forward in my mind, and I shifted. Standing on four paws, I looked up at Teacher, considering him. He looked right back at me, considering me as well.

“A strong wolf. I’m impressed. Though still, it’s holding back. We’ll have to start you on some wolf training.”

Carefully, I shifted back into my human form. My wolf went willingly, not fighting me at all for control this time.

human form, Tcould speak again. “You think I could be even more powerful?”

“I do,” Teacher said. “Your wolf is strong, but that strength is nothing to what happened when you destroyed the training dummy.” He gestured to the middle dummy, the one that had since been replaced. “You are still coming into your powers, so you may still suffer bursts of strength. But overall, you are much stronger now. You should find that this new strength will suit you well as a warrior.”

I was eager to start training, so I picked up a sword and performed some of the moves I’d been trained.

“Maybe you’d like to spar again?” said Reginald from behind me.
