Chapter 132

Chapter 132

When Dora had first transplanted the blueberry tree, she’d brought the ore along with it. But later, when she was tidying up the Spatial Realm, she’d moved all the ore to a separate pile.

Without its energy source, the blueberry tree had stayed wilted.

But now, with the ore rolling back under its roots, the tree was suddenly bursting with life again,

“So you need to absorb energy from the crystal ore to grow properly?” Dora murmured to herself.

“Were those two Shadow Demon Beasts actually helping you gather your ‘food”?”

The blueberry tree’s branches swayed gently, as if answering her.

Without a second thought, Dora grabbed some crystal ore from the pile and carefully buried it around the roots of the starvein blueberry tree.

One piece, two pieces, three pieces…

She buried over a dozen chunks, covered them with humus soil, then scooped up the clearest water from the essence spring and slowly poured it over the roots.

The moment the essence spring water soaked into the soil, the whole blueberry tree gave a gentle shiver.

The roots wrapped tighter around the ore, and the starlight weaving through its branches shone even brighter.

“All done,” Dora said, dusting off her hands.

She looked at the blueberry tree, now looking lively again, and smiled. “Now I won’t have to worry about you struggling to grow anymore.”

After taking care of the blueberry tree, Dora pulled out a few ordinary blueberry saplings from the Spatial Realm’s storage. These were the ones she’d collected from Zone 32, the ones that hadn’t mutated.

She’d picked them up from the edge of the wetlands. They weren’t as valuable as the starvein blueberry, but they were still pretty rare in the interstellar world.

She chose a few spots around the starvein blueberry tree and planted each of the ordinary saplings one by one.

She kept three aside, planning to give one to her mom, one to Iris, and one to Mindy.

She’d checked, and even though the trading hall in the training zone would buy them up, they never put them up for sale.

Most likely, the government was collecting them all to cultivate and process into premium nutrient drinks.

Once she watered them with essence spring water, the saplings’ leaves instantly unfurled, bursting with vitality.

“Settle in and grow strong here,” Dora murmured gently.

Next up were the wetland plants.

Agave plants and waterproof vines.

She’d picked all these from the wetlands watched over by the silver crane.

Interstellar sources said mutated plants were nearly impossible to keep alive in man-made environments, never mind trying to move them into a Spatial Realm.

But Dora had essence spring water

She found a moist patch of soil by the stream, planted the agave plants, tucked their roots in snugly and watered then wil essence spring water.

The leaves, which had been drooping, instantly sprang upright as soon as they touched the spring water looking even lasher and greener than when she’d collected them.

She planted the waterproof vines across the stream, letting the vines climb along the bank while the roots burrowed dep

into the moist soil.

Once she watered it with essence spring water, fresh shoots visibly burst forth at the tip of the vine.

No wonder the silver crane wanted essence spring water, it really worked wonders for the mutated plants it protected

“We’ll keep the rest for our own use,” Dora said, counting the remaining plants.

“If they survive, that’s extra income. If not, we won’t lose anything,” she added.

Both of these plants were strategic resources for the wet season. If she could get them to grow in the Spatial Realm, she’d never have to worry about running out of moisture-resistant materials again.

Finally, Dora headed over to the edge of the sandy soil, where she’d just turned it.

Rose seeds.

She’d traded for this packet of seeds through the barter system, but had completely forgotten to plant them.

Dora took out the seeds, sprinkled them evenly over the soft soil, covered them with a thin layer of dirt, and then gave them a thorough watering with essence spring water.

“Ah, roses…” Dora murmured to herself.

“You’re so valuable out here in the interstellar world, so you better thrive for me.

‘Once you bloom, I can show you off at home, maybe bake some flower pastries, and who knows, maybe score something good in a trade…”

She paused, recalling what Lucian had said about the Windsor family’s monopoly, and what Rafe had mentioned about those elite families.

‘If my roses actually take root and grow… Dora wondered.

‘No, they’ll definitely make it.

With essence spring water, is there any plant that wouldn’t grow?

‘Here’s hoping my roses work their magic too!

After finishing up in the planting area, Dora headed over to the stasis space.

There, all the mutated alien beast materials she’d collected from Zone 32 were neatly arranged.

Each mutated alien beast was lined up neatly, from Level 5 all the way to Pinnacle Level 6, with the time they were hunted clearly marked on each one.

She’d carefully sorted everything by level and type, making sure each group was in its proper place.

All the hides, bones, horns, claws, venom glands, and special organs she’d prepped were laid out in tidy rows.

Everything was tagged and organized, so it was easy to see what belonged where.

“I’ll take my time selling them off later,” Dora thought, nodding in satisfaction.

“The Spatial Realm’s got plenty of room, so there’s no rush,” she added.

Finally, her eyes fell on the crystal ore that was stored separately.

It was a Level 3 special crystal ore, taken from that mutated iron-clawed she-wolf.

She remembered thinking its color was way lighter, almost see-through, not like any earth-type crystal ore she’d seen before.

Dora brought the crystal ore up for a closer look, examining it up close.

The core was a pale gold, with fine lines flowing and shifting inside, almost like it was quietly pulsing with life.

As she held it in her palm, Dora felt an odd sensation, not cold, not hot, but a weird sense of resonance she couldn’t quite put into words.

“What’s so special about you, really?” Dora muttered, eyeing the crystal ore.

Suddenly, an idea struck her.

‘Should I try absorbing it?’ she wondered.

Dora’s Spatial Realm was already at Level 4, so taking in a Level 3 crystal ore should be a breeze.

Even if this crystal ore was a bit special, it was still just Level 3, so it shouldn’t cause any real trouble.

After hesitating for a few seconds, Dora made up her mind.

She pulled herself out of the Spatial Realm and leaned back on the sofa, the crystal ore still in her hand.

She looked down at the crystal ore in her palm.

Under the light, its glow seemed even softer and more alluring than it had in the Spatial Realm.

“Why not try?” Dora murmured. “Maybe something cool will happen.”

‘Anyway, I’ve got loads of crystal ores now, it’s not like I’m gonna run out,’ she thought.

Dora sat cross-legged, holding the crystal ore between her hands, and closed her eyes.

She took a deep breath and activated her psychic power.

She focused inward, feeling the energy surging inside the crystal ore.
