Chapter 138
Felix was dressed in a sharp danbat suit. Ife stood tall and straight, with thick eyebrows and sharp eyes. His hair was damp with mist, making him look both heroic and relaxed
When he saw Dora, he smiled warmly at her. “Hey, Dora”
“Felix!” Dora jumped up and rushed over. “What are you doing here?
“Come on in, it’s so damp outside!”
Felix stepped inside, his gaze landing on Dora with that brotherly concern.
Then his eyes swept across the living room, pausing for a moment when he noticed Mindy.
This was only the second time they’d met. The first was in a hotel room at the training zone. He’d also been there to watch Dora and Mindy team up for a match.
Back then, he’d paid special attention to Mindy, the female who’d teamed up with Dora.
Mindy nodded in greeting, her smile polite and appropriate. “Hello, Mr. Southwell.”
Felix nodded back. “Hello, Ms. Finn.”
His gaze lingered on her face for a moment before moving on.
Dora guided Felix to the couch, and Seven had already brought over some steaming coffee.
Felix took out an exquisite box from his pocket and handed it to Dora.
‘Mom asked me to bring this for you,” Felix said.
Dora opened the box and saw a neat layer of crystal ores inside.
They were all Level 1 and Level 2, but there were plenty, enough to fill the box to the brim.
‘This is…?” Dora looked up, a bit uncertain.
“They’re for strengthening the house’s shield,” Felix explained. “Mom said the wet season uses up a lot of energy, so don’t skimp.
“Take these crystal ores and use them. If you run out, just let the family know.”
Dora gazed at the box of crystal ores, her heart warming with gratitude.
The Southwell family truly cared for her.
Even after all the drama with the engagement and getting “kicked out of the house, Vivienne and the rest of the fam members never really stopped caring about her.
“Thanks, Felix,” Dora said, her voice a bit rough as she took the box. “And tell Mom I said thanks, too.”
Felix smiled and nodded. “You know, Mom loves it when you come home. Spending time with you means the world to her

He paused, then gave Dora a knowing look.
Dora caught on and stood up. “Felix, let’s talk over there.”
The two of them walked over to a corner of the living room.
Felix lowered his voice, curiosity shining in his eyes Dora, those snacks you gave me last tirire, ster I ate them. I swear! could feel crystal energy inside.”
Dora blinked, teasing him with a question instead of answering. “You actuali, felt something?”
“Absolutely!” Felix whispered even softer. “The first piece of chocolate I tried, I was shocked, it really had crystal energy in it! So I made those snacks last for several days.
‘Every time I finished one, I felt super charged with crystal energy.
I’ve still got a few left. A couple days ago, I took them with me to Zone 32, and as soon as I walked in. I bumped right into Pinnacle Level 6 mutated alien beast.
‘I thought I was done for, but I fought that mutated alien beast for two whole hours, munching on your snacks the whole time. Somehow, I managed to wear it down and finish it off.”
He paused, looking at Dora seriously. “And guess what? My supernatural ability leveled up.”
Dora’s eyes lit up. “What level are you at now?”
‘Moderate Level 6,” Felix replied.
Felix could barely contain his excitement. “I’ve been stuck at Primary Level 6 for three years, and I finally made it’

‘I guess I had enough crystal ores, but I was always short on crystal energy, so I just stayed stuck and couldn’t break through”
Dora was genuinely happy for him. “That’s awesome! Congrats, Felix!”
‘So you gotta tell me,” Felix said, fixing her with a look. “How come your snacks are packed with crystal energy?”
Dora flashed him a mysterious smile, leaned in close, and whispered in his ear, “It’s a secret.”
Felix was speechless.
He’d watched Dora grow up right before his eyes, always thinking he had hek all figured out.
But lately, the changes in her had completely surprised him.
“Don’t ask, it’s a secret,” Dora said with a playful grin.
She stepped back, smiling at him. “But you can enjoy them without a second thought.
“Whenever I get something nice, I’ll always save some for you. You’re the one who’s given the most for our family, at
Felix shook his head with a wry smile, he knew there was no way to win against her.
He’d always known Dora had her own mind. If she didn’t want to spill, nobody could pry it out of her
“Alright, I won’t ask,” he relented. “But you gotta promise me one thing.”

Felix looked at her intently. “You know the saying, sometimes just having something valuable can bring trouble, even if you haven’t done anything wrong.”
Dora’s heart warmed at his concern, and she nodded. “I understand, Felix
Suddenly, Dora changed the subject. “Felix, why didn’t you pair up with a female earlie
“That way, you’d never run out of crystal energy food.”
Felix shook his head. “Dora, it’s not that simple. Females from noble families are pretty calculating and proud
“Even if they paired up, they’d be fighting every day just to get a bit more crystal-energy food.
“Honestly, I’d rather stay single, even if it means my supernatural ability levels up slower.”
Dora shook her head, not agreeing. “Not all females are like that. If it were me, I’d make sure to treat everyone the same
Felix ruffled Dora’s hair affectionately. “There really aren’t many females out there like you. Dora.”
Dora asked again, “Did you ever try the marriage matching center?”
Felix shook his head with a sigh. “I signed up, but I haven’t gotten any updates. Females are so rare in the interstellar world. it’s not easy to find the right one.”
They made their way back to the living room as they chatted.
Suddenly, Dora snapped her fingers, throwing a sly look at Felix, then at Mindy, a teasing glint flashing in her eyes.
“Felix,” she said, “didn’t you just say the matching center still hasn’t found you a suitable female?”
Felix blinked, not sure why she suddenly brought that up, but answered honestly, “Yeah.
“I’ve been signed up for over a year and haven’t heard a peep.”
Dora’s grin turned sly as she swept her gaze back and forth between Mindy and Felix.
“So, what do you think… about Mindy?” she teased.
The room suddenly fell quiet.
