Chapter 140

Once the seeds started spreatug on a large scale, it would definitely attract attention from everythirection

severy shred

The political world, the business world, and even those forces operating behind the stenes would all be watching her

She had to think not just about the survival of the men of the Blackflamme Trading Guild, but also about the safety of herself her five beast mates, and her household.

Clive didn’t rush her. He just waited quietly.

Those seeds were Dora’s secret, her ace up her sleeve. If she revealed them, she’d be putting herself at even greater risk

He had thought this through carefully. He wouldn’t let Dora be put in harm’s way.

He would let the seeds be released under the name of the Blackflame Trading Guild’s Boss Clive, so no one would ever knew where they really came from.

Dora took a moment to consider.

“How do you want to split them up?” she asked.

Clive had clearly thought this through. “At first, we’ll only give them to the inner circle.

“It’s a reward, not a handout.

“If someone completes a mission or really stands out, they can request a share of seeds.

“They can keep some of what they harvest for themselves, and the rest goes to the guild for redistribution.”

He paused, then added, “The seeds will come into the Blackflame Trading Guild under the name of the Blackflame Trading Guild’s Boss Clive. No one in the guild dares to question Boss Clive, so your secret’s safe.”

Dora raised an eyebrow. “Wow, you really covered all the bases.”

Clive looked at her, a trace of nervousness showing in his eyes.

Dora wasn’t used to seeing him nervous like this.

She suddenly broke into a radiant smile, her face glowing. “Deal!”

Clive was stunned.

“Did you just say yes?” he asked.

“The Blackflame Trading Guild might be an underground organization,” Dora said, her voice soft but firm.

“But with you in charge, it’s doing way better than most of those legit groups out there.

“You give orphans and stray beastfolk decent jobs and a real livelihood, way more than the government ever does for them.”

Clive’s eyes quivered with emotion.

“Because you care about me so much, I know you’d never reveal where the seeds really came from. I trust you. Dora said

So you’n agreeing,” he asked.

Dora smiled “Why wouldn’t I?

“And what’s yours is mine.

She pulled a bag of seeds from her Spatial Realm, peanuts, sweet potatoes, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers each in a small packet, lined up neatly on the coffee table.

“Let’s test these out first,” she said. “If they do well, we’ll scale up.

“But…”

She held up a finger. “We need to set some ground rules.

‘These aren’t freebies, they’re rewards.

‘First, we give them to the top brass who’ve contributed the most and are the most loyal.

‘Only those who’ve made special contributions to the Blackflame Trading Guild get them. If you have to work for it. you’ll value it more.”

Clive fell silent, just gazing at the bag of seeds for a long time.

Then he reached out and took her hand.

“That’s why you’re my female mate, we just get each other,” he murmured, his voice rough with emotion.

Dora took his hand, shaking her head with a smile. “Your men are part of this family too.”

The bag of seeds rested quietly in Clive’s hand, tiny and easy to overlook, but packed with meaning.

Inside were the hopes of the Blackflame brothers, the future of the struggling planets, and the deepening bonds that tied this family together.

Rafe had quietly come out of the study at some point, and as he listened to their conversation, a thoughtful look flickered in his blue eyes.

He sat down on the other end of the sofa, but didn’t say a word, just listened in silence.

Lucian came down from upstairs, his pale golden eyes sweeping over the three of them in the living room. He paused for a moment, then found a spot to sit down.

Lioren and Elmer wandered back from whatever they were up to.

One had his cat ears twitching, the other’s puppy eyes were sparkling, both were quick to notice something telt off in the

room.

All five beast mates gathered in the living room at the same time, as it on cue, drawn by some invisible force

Dora looked up and saw five faces, each with their own unique vibe, all locked onto her. She broke into a smile.

“So, you all heard that?” Dora asked.

The other four beast mates nodded together.

yens already got dinner ready Let’s cat and talk, Dora saz

The table was loaded with dishes Seven had whipped up with care. The five beast mates took their seats and Dora var at the head of the table.

“Clive suggested something today,” Dora said, laying out the plan about fire seeds. Threk it’s a good idea

“What do you guys think?”

Elmer was the first to raise his hand. “I’m all for it!

‘Dora’s right, whatever belongs to Clive belongs to Dora, and whatever’s Dora’s belongs to all of us. It’s all family

Lioren’s cat ears gave a little twitch, his amber eyes locking onto Clive. “I did my homework on the Blackflame Trading Guild.

“They’re actually helping out the struggling planets, and they run a tight ship, definitely not some shady underground gang

‘Everything’s centralized, and loyalty’s off the charts. With Clive calling the shots, letting the seeds circulate internally is otally fine.”

Rafe pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses, his blue eyes thoughtful. “I strongly support Clive’s proposal and the way he s mplementing it.

‘Once more females in the Blackflame Trading Guild are cultivating these seeds, we can leverage the guild’s channels to build an industrial chain and promote them throughout the interstellar.”

He looked at Clive. “In the early stages, the seeds can be given as rewards for significant contributions, but every female who receives them should regularly submit a portion.

‘That way, when the seeds start circulating in the market, we’ll have a clear basis for their distribution.”

Clive nodded. “That’s exactly what I was thinking.”

Lucian set down his fork, his pale golden eyes sweeping over everyone. “There are plenty of soldiers in the military who come from struggling planets.

‘If this model works, maybe we could…”

He didn’t finish, but everyone got the message.

Dora raised an eyebrow at him. “Lucian, you want to roll this out in the military too?”
