Felix walked in with a spring in his step and a cheerful grin on his face.

He was dressed in casual clothes, his hair still damp, obviously just returned from outdoors.

Iris covered her mouth in surprise.

“You… you stayed at Mindy’s place?” she repeated.

Felix replied with a quick “Okay,” then turned and headed upstairs to pack his things.

Dora raised an eyebrow.

Dora smiled.

Dora watched Felix head upstairs, then glanced at Iris next to her. She leaned in and whispered with a teasing grin, “Envious?”

Iris blinked in surprise, her cheeks flushing bright red. “Come on, Dora!”

Dora laughed and ruffled her hair. “It’s good to be a little jealous, you know.

“Once you’re feeling better, we’ll get Mom to register you at the matching center, so you can find a mate you really like.

“When you apply for your homestead, we’ll make sure it’s right here in our community, so we can live side by side.”

Iris’s eyes lit up, but she looked a bit uneasy. “But… I wish I could find someone I really like, just like you did, Dora.”

Dora raised an eyebrow. “Got your eye on someone already?”

Felix had finished packing, holding a small suitcase, his face lit up with excitement he just couldn’t hide.

He stood at the doorway, kept glancing toward the yard, where he saw Milo stepping out of the car.

“Felix,” Dora teased, leaning in, “you look like you can’t wait to get back home.”

Felix cleared his throat, his ears turning a little red. “Cut it out.”

Dora burst out laughing.

Vivienne walked them to the door, took Dora’s hand, and whispered, “Thanks Mindy for me, will you? She really took good care of Felix last night…

“And invite her whole family over for dinner one of these days.”

Dora nodded. “Leave it to me, Mom. I’ll handle everything.”
