Chapter 184 Five Bonus Points For You
Rafe-stood up, walked over to her, and sat down beside her as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
The sofa dipped slightly under his weight.
Dora caught a faint whiff of Rafe’s scent.
It wasn’t cologne. It was his own blend, a subtle mix of coffee and a woody undertone.
Her heart skipped a beat, but she didn’t let it show on her face.
“Hey, Dory,” Rafe called her again, his voice gentler than before.
“Hmm?” she responded.
“Are you feeling tired?” he asked. “You’ve been keeping watch for a whole day and night. Should I give you a shoulder rub?
Dora turned her head to look at him. Those blue eyes were so sincere, like he really just wanted to give her a shoulder rub, nothing more.
She snorted. “Suddenly being so nice for no reason?”
Rafe chuckled, his smile tinged with helplessness, indulgence, and a bit of fondness.
“Do I need an excuse to pamper you?” he said.
“You’re my mate. Treating you well is just what I’m supposed to do,” he added.
Dora looked at him, and in the sunlight, his blue eyes seemed especially bright and clear.
There was such honest sincerity in his gaze that she couldn’t bring herself to say no.
She was quiet for a few seconds, flexing her shoulders. Truth be told, she could really use a shoulder rub.
“Just the shoulders,” she muttered.
Rafe’s eyes sparkled.
He slipped behind her, his long fingers landing on her shoulders and starting to massage them.
His touch was perfect, not too hard, not too soft, just what her tired muscles needed.
Dora’s eyes narrowed in pleasure, and she nearly let out a satisfied moan.
Rafe’s fingers lingered on her shoulders, sometimes “accidentally” brushing against the back of her neck.
That spot was so sensitive that every touch made her quiver just a little.
“Does this spot feel sore?” His deep, magnetic voice came from above, tinged with concern.
“Yeah… press harder,” she murmured.
Rafe’s fingers pressed down with more strength, massaging the pressure points in her shoulders and neck.
Dora melted into the sofa, totally relaxed without even noticing.
Rafe’s hands stilled on her shoulders.

Dora opened her eyes and saw him gazing down at her, his blue eyes stormy with emotion.
“Dory,” Rafe murmured in a low voice.
“Hmm?” Dora replied…
“I want…” he began, but didn’t finish.
Dora instantly understood.
That look was way too familiar, she was now a female who’d slept with two beast mates.
Looking at his ridiculously handsome, almost hypnotic face, Dora struggled to swallow.
She sat up straighter, pulling back a bit.
She was a woman with standards.
She wasn’t about to let this charming fox of a man get the better of her.
“Rafe,” she said, “you’re still on probation.”
Rafe’s eyes flashed with disappointment, but he quickly hid it.
He moved back to his spot, still wearing that calm, elegant smile.
“I know,” he said. “Forty-five points.”
Dora looked at him, and for a moment, she felt her resolve waver.
This man was ruthlessly sharp in business, always several steps ahead of everyone else.
But with her, he was always so cautious and genuinely sincere.
“Keep up the good work,” she said with a teasing smile. “Score enough points, and… well, you know what comes next.
“Alright, let’s go help Seven.
“We still haven’t figured out lunch yet.”
Rafe stood up and gave a slight bow. “At your service.”
He turned and headed for the kitchen, with a sly spring in his step, like a fox who just stole a chicken.
Dora watched him walk away, and couldn’t help the smile spreading across her lips.
At lunchtime, Rafe took over the kitchen and whipped up a few dishes himself.
The plating was gorgeous, and the food looked, smelled, and tasted incredible, totally rivaling Elmer’s skills.
“Go ahead, give it a try,” Rafe said, sitting across from Dora and watching her expectantly.
Dora picked up a piece of fish with her fork. It was tender and fresh.
“Not bad,” she said, nodding.
Rafe’s eyes crinkled into a crescent shape.
Dora kept her head down, pretending not to notice the tenderness in his blue eyes.

She was just a normal woman, when faced with a gorgeous guy like him, even she couldn’t always kerp her cool
Dora let out a silent sigh. Not yet… I need to hold myself back, she reminded herself.
That night, Dora was jolted awake by another surge of energy from the second floor. She sat up in a flash.
Rafe was right there beside her, not saying a word, just quietly keeping her company.
Dora leaned back against the sofa, her tense nerves finally unwinding as a wave of exhaustion crashed over her.
She’d been on guard for two days straight, she was completely spent.
Half-asleep, Dora felt someone gently drape a blanket over her.
Then, she felt a soft, fleeting kiw on her forehead.
“Goodnight, Dory, Rafe’s voice was so gentle, it was almost dreamlike.
Dora wanted to open her eyes, but she was just too tired.
She mumbled sleepily, rolled over, and slipped into a deep, peaceful sleep.
For three days straight, except for meals, Dora camped out in the living room.
She had a stash of snacks and coffee brewed with essence spring water right in front of her, ready to snack on whenever she felt like it
Rafe wasn’t just sitting around either.
He took it upon himself to handle the perimeter watch and supervise the construction bots.
And every now and then, he’d go out of his way to pamper Dora.
“Dory, feeling tired? Here, have some water,” Rafe said, handing it to her.
“Dory, I just cut up some fruit, it’s nice and cold. Try some,” Rafe offered.
“Dory, want to take a break and rest for a bit?” Rafe asked gently.
Dora leaned back on the sofa, watching as the usually polished CEO turned into a charming fox whenever they were alone. She felt both annoyed and amused by his antics.
“Rafe,” she raised an eyebrow, “have you been farming points these days?”
Rafe flashed a small smile, his blue eyes sparkling with just the right amount of hope. “Can I get a few more points?”
He made Dora laugh out loud.
“Alright,” she waved her hand, “since you’ve been so good lately, I’ll give you five bonus points.”
Rafe’s eyes lit up. “So, what’s my score now?”
