Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 1772

Wayne sat there, waiting to be spoiled, his little mouth open wide. “Grandpa~”

Hansen hustled over and fed him a spoonful.

After a couple more bites, Wayne lost interest in the food fight. He was ready to go find Dad, but his mom scooped him up before he could get away. “Sweetie, Mommy loves you so much. Give me a kiss! Now, tell me—how does a cat sound?”

Wayne answered in his perfect baby voice, “Cat.”

“No, silly, kitties go ‘meow’!”

Wayne twisted around, looking for Chad. “Daddy, Mommy’s being silly again~”

The whole room cracked up. Henry turned to Logan and said, “My mom isn’t silly at all.”

Everyone was grinning even more.

Whenever the boys were together, they always shared a room at night.

Before bed, Henry insisted on his video call with Uncle Cooper. Usually, the camera showed just one face, and Henry could see his uncle clear as day. But tonight, “Kristen, you and Cooper are only half on the screen! Sweetie can’t see you guys!”

Cooper glanced at the woman hogging the camera. He reached out, gently moving her so both their faces fit in the shot. Now Henry could see them both.

Cooper said to Jennie, “Grab the other earbud. It’s on my ear.”

Jennie took the Bluetooth earbud from Cooper, put it in, and leaned in so her cheek was right by his chest. “Hey, sweetie! Who’s that adorable kid next to you?”

Henry piped up, his little voice loud and clear, “Kristen, that’s my little brother Logan! We call him Little Dumpling~”

“Little Dumpling?” Jennie’s eyes sparkled. “Cooper, is that like those dumplings you make that taste so good?”

Cooper grinned. “Henry, your brother’s name is Wayne, not Little Dumpling.”

Henry rolled off the bed and stood up. “No, Cooper’s not alone! We saw Kristen!” He squinted at the phone. “Wait, where’d sweetie Kristen go?”

Jennie almost broke free, but Cooper hung up fast. “Sis, I don’t want to see you and ruin my good mood. Bye!”

He ended the call before Mia could get another word in.

Jennie finally wriggled free. Mia just shook her head at her son and nephew, amused.

Lately, Madison kept nudging her son. “You know Anya, right? She’s about your age and getting married soon. I’m not saying you have to get married right away, but at least start dating!”

Cooper shot back, “What if I bring home a foreign girl?”

Madison paused, then said, “...As long as she’s pretty, I’m happy.”

Cooper grinned. “How about I bring home a real princess for you, Mom?”
