I soon heard footsteps heading towards the Coburg I was in.

Immediately, I burst out, hitting the Coburg door off.

Thankfully, I was now in my wolf form, and I had fully regained my strength at the right time.

I now see eye to eye with the green eye, Alpha.

He growled at me, and I escaped, jumping through his kitchen window, breaking it.

“Get her!” I heard him yell.

Fleeing for my life, I looked behind me to see the alpha along with the four men chasing me. The four were fast, but not as fast as the alpha.

I tried not to run in a straight line, not to let them catch up to me quickly. I change my path frequently, running in a zigzag.

They were gaining on me and were very close. Suddenly, I heard a voice within my head that sounded like my mother, instructing me to run.

It gave me hope to run even faster, but I had come to the end of my path.

I was now standing at the edge of a cliff, and over that cliff was a pond filled with large, hungry crocodiles.

“There’s no way to run,” said the alpha.

I saw there was another path across the pond, but I couldn’t leap that far.

The wolves were almost near me.

I made up my mind and leaped across the pond filled with crocodiles.

They were looking back at me from across the cliff, growling.

The green-eyed alpha then turned his attention to the strange wolf, furiously.

The strange wolf fur was darker than the night. His paws were very large, and he stood still and strong, not moving an inch as he stared back at the alpha.

“Remember your rules,” the alpha said to the strange wolf who had saved me and ran off back home, accompanied by his followers.

I lay behind the stranger, hurt from the strong pull he made in saving me.

My dirty white fur was now stained by blood, and my neck hurt badly from his sharp teeth sinking into my flesh.

I howl softly in pain, but the strange wolf didn’t even look at me. He watched the other wolves across the cliff as they ran off.

He then turned his attention to me. His eyes were like a pool of tar. It was the most deadly eyes I have seen. As he stared at me, he crept upon me.
