The CEO’s Regret My Ex-Wife is a Tech Goddess novel Chapter 168

"Candidate No. 2: A classmate of mine. A younger, golden-retriever type. Comes from a wealthy family and is currently between jobs. 6 feet tall, soft, cuddly, and loves to be spoiled. He used to be a student athlete, so he's in great shape. Hobbies include cooking gourmet meals at home. The ultimate househusband."

"Candidate No. 3: Allow me to formally introduce my cousin Preston. Studied abroad, now working a cushy government job. 5'10", looks like a movie star, emotionally stable, and has a wonderful personality. He has tons of people chasing him, but he's holding out for a soulmate. He'd rather be single than settle."

...

Alaina kept her arms crossed, fighting back a smile. "Would it be too greedy if I wanted to meet all three?"

"Not at all," Michelle gasped, leaning in with a grin. "To save time, we can have you meet all three at once."

Just then, a light cough echoed from outside the door.

Both of them whipped their heads around, realizing the office door hadn't been closed properly.

Through the gap, they caught sight of a very familiar figure turning to leave.

Alaina knew exactly who it was, but remained perfectly seated, looking utterly unbothered.

Zachary coughed again, knocked on the door, and poked his head in. "Are you ready to head out?"

Alaina murmured a quick thank-you to Michelle, grabbed her bag, and walked out.

Zachary shot Michelle a deadly glare. "You are such a troublemaker," he hissed before hurrying after Alaina.

Michelle just stuck her tongue out.

The moment she got into the car, Alaina said, "I made plans with Julian at the gym. Drop me off there."

With that, she pulled out her phone and started scrolling, completely ignoring Silas.

Silas gave her an icy sidelong glance. His fingers curled against the armrest, his knuckles tightening as his lips pressed into a thin line.
