Felice stared at her test paper in sheer disbelief.
She had never even heard of half these chemical formulas and physics principles.
She gripped her pen tightly and instinctively glanced in Rebecca's direction. She saw Rebecca carefully reading the questions. Although her expression was cold, she didn't look stressed at all; she looked as if she could handle it perfectly.
Felice's heart sank even further.
She felt a pang of regret for falling for Rebecca's provocation and signing her name on that bet.
But a second later, Rebecca crossed her arms on her desk and rested her head on them.
Felice's eyes went wide. Was Rebecca... going to sleep?!
Had she lost her mind? The exam had just started, and she was taking a nap!
From the podium, the Dean saw Rebecca sprawling out to sleep, and his expression naturally soured. He couldn't resist the urge to call her out.
"Ahem—"
Suddenly, two soft coughs echoed from the hallway. He looked up—wasn't that President Wade Lane?
He was about to stand up when Wade waved him off and pointed in Rebecca's direction.
It took him a moment to realize that Wade was telling him not to disturb her rest.
Though his head was spinning with questions, he didn't dare disobey the president. He obediently stayed seated at the podium.
Felice, who had seen the Dean about to reprimand Rebecca, watched in bewilderment as he suddenly clamped his mouth shut and looked away.
Who was out in the hall that could make the Dean so obedient?
Suddenly, her face changed. Could it be Wade Lane?
At that thought, she didn't dare look around anymore and quickly ducked her head to start answering questions.
Paulina and Magee had also noticed the shift in the Dean's demeanor.
Magee looked thoughtfully toward the door.
