Rebecca stared at Ladd.
Many tech guys were introverted, but he was certainly different. She wondered how a chatterbox like him would fit in at MR Group.
Magee walked into the classroom at a leisurely pace. As he passed Rebecca, he noticed her looking at Ladd, and his gaze instantly cooled.
Once everyone was present, the Dean began explaining the rules of the exam.
Although they had heard them countless times before, no one showed any signs of impatience.
Unlike standard finals, the Apex Academy qualifying test was divided into only two parts: academic subjects and specialized courses.
The academic exam merged all their core subjects, including linear algebra, optoelectronics, and chemistry labs.
The specialized exam, on the other hand, was a custom-tailored test based on each student's specific field of expertise.
"Alright, you should all be clear on the rules by now. I'll hand out the papers, and you can begin as soon as the bell rings."
The students received their papers and began skimming through them.
The Dean adjusted the timer.
At that moment, Rebecca raised her hand. "Dean Ablitt, I have a question."
Her voice instantly drew everyone's attention.
The Dean looked up. "Rebecca, do you have a question about the rules?"
Ignoring the stares, Rebecca lowered her hand and casually rested her wrist on the edge of her desk. "Can I hand in my paper early?"
The entire class paled in shock, staring at her like she was a total psycho.
A loser like her actually wanted to hand in her exam early!
The Dean was also startled by her request.
A community college dropout actually had the nerve to ask such a thing in front of the geniuses of Class A.
With his furious shout, the classroom finally plunged into silence.
With the paper in front of her, Rebecca gave it a quick scan.
The questions definitely had Wade Lane's signature style written all over them.
While most university exams focused heavily on theoretical knowledge, Wade was different.
He prioritized practical application. Especially when it came to rigorous R&D calculations and experimental procedures, he demanded every single detail be thoroughly documented.
This was incredibly brutal for most students, but it played right into her hands.
Her hands-on experience numbered in the thousands, if not tens of thousands. Handling these questions was a breeze.
When the others looked at the exam, they almost thought they had been given the wrong papers.
How could an exam be this impossibly hard!
