The Coma Prince’s Fiancée novel Chapter 168

As the exams upstairs officially began, a massive projector screen slowly descended from the ceiling, looming over the students in the hall.

“What is that?”

“Does the president know we're all dying to see the showdown between Gavin and Garnett? Is he broadcasting it?”

“No way. The president is swamped with work. Why would he care about petty drama?”

“But that's a live-feed screen. If it's not broadcasting the exam room, what else could it be for?”

Candace was just as confused. She turned to Rebecca. “What do you think they're showing us?”

Rebecca casually locked her phone screen, hiding a newly received text from Wade Lane.

[Haha, don't think I don't know you've been “paying attention” to that student, Garnett! Here, let me give you a live broadcast so we can see what he's made of!]

She looked up smoothly. “Looks like they're giving us a live feed of the exam room.”

A student nearby clapped his hands. “If Rebecca says it, it must be true!”

A chorus of agreement echoed around her.

Rebecca blinked. When did she suddenly become the voice of absolute authority here?

When no one was looking, she typed a quick reply to Wade.

[Don't believe the rumors. I'm not paying attention to anyone.]

Wade fired back immediately.

[You're an adult now, kiddo. I wouldn't object to you dating. But this boy isn't good enough. Why don't you consider my slacker of a nephew?]

Seeing the old man was getting carried away, Rebecca clicked her tongue.

“Same. Even The Dean looks terrifying right now. I'm going to pass out.”

“No wonder everyone who came out earlier looked like a ghost. This is psychological warfare.”

“Stop talking. Just looking at them is giving me a panic attack.”

While everyone else spiraled into a collective breakdown, Rebecca was completely unbothered. She propped her chin on her hand, watching the screen with casual interest. The soft lighting caught her stunning profile, highlighting a lazy, magnetic elegance that was impossible to ignore.

Around her, several boys found themselves staring, completely entranced.

Noticing the unwanted attention without shifting her posture, Rebecca's voice dropped to a freezing temperature. “If you don't need those eyes, I'd be happy to gouge them out for you.”

Every single boy instantly snapped their heads away.

She was breathtaking, but her words were terrifying!
