The Coma Prince’s Fiancée novel Chapter 26

Paulina spelled everything out, no sugarcoating. Her meaning couldn’t have been clearer. If Rebecca didn’t hand over the money, she could kiss her spot in the family records goodbye.

Paulina tossed in a casual dig. “Rebecca, you can’t blame Mom and Dad for not telling you. Your three brothers have known you were back for a while, but they’ve all been too busy to stop by and say hi. I bet Mom and Dad have spent so much time nagging them to come home, they just forgot about this whole thing.”

Rebecca glanced over with a cool smile. “You’re so fake.”

Paulina’s saccharine expression faltered. “You—”

Rebecca didn’t bother with her.

Honestly, she hadn’t heard anything about needing to pay, but whether she made it into some family ledger or not wouldn’t change who she was. She was still her parents’ daughter and that was all she cared about.

As for the three brothers she’d never even met, she’d let fate decide.

Sophia sat there with her nose in the air, waiting for Rebecca to break down, beg for forgiveness, and offer her a fat check.

Instead, Rebecca looked as unimpressed as if she were hearing background noise. She just gave a polite nod, completely unbothered.

Sophia lost it. “Rebecca, this is the only chance you’ll ever have to get Mom’s approval! Just hand over the money and I’ll convince her to let you in. If not, you’ll always be on the outside!”

Rebecca shrugged, not the least bit moved. “Oh? I don’t have any money.”

Her indifference made both Sophia and Paulina’s faces darken.

Right then, a loud voice cut through the auction hall.

“Twenty million, third and final call... Sold!”

As the auctioneer’s gavel slammed down, Sophia felt something in her brain snap.
