The Coma Prince’s Fiancée novel Chapter 79

“Entrance rules?”

Rebecca echoed the words, her tone cool and untouchable, a sort of confidence that caught everyone’s attention the second she spoke.

The girl who tried calling her out shrank under Rebecca’s gaze, suddenly looking like she seriously regretted ever opening her mouth.

Paulina watched as her so-called backup crumbled after just one look from Rebecca, which only made her more annoyed. If she let Rebecca off easy today, there was no way she’d ever earn respect from the rest of them.

She quickly smoothed her expression into a sweet smile.

“Rebecca, don’t take it the wrong way. She’s not giving you a hard time. I actually meant to tell you about this rule in the car, but you didn’t want to hear it then. This has been a tradition since Vantage Point University was founded. President Wade made it very clear. He said we should build our minds and our bodies. Nobody gets a free pass.”

Paulina’s voice lingered on those last words, making sure everyone heard her say it—nobody gets a free pass.

Unless Rebecca planned to ignore the whole college experience, she really had no choice but to follow the rules like everyone else.

Irvin, who’d been wondering why a university would even have a fitness requirement, finally understood when he heard Paulina’s explanation. He thought about it for a second, then decided to stay out of it for now. Honestly, he was curious to see how Rebecca would handle her first challenge here.

As soon as the others realized Rebecca had flat-out ignored Paulina’s attempt to help earlier, the mood in the room changed. Suddenly, everyone seemed to think Rebecca was ungrateful.

“Vantage Point isn’t just any college. Everyone here has beaten out thousands to get a spot—even the foundation program is no joke. You only got in because Paulina recommended you, so you should actually appreciate what you have.”

“Right? You’re an adult now. You’re not going to be one of those overgrown kids who have to depend on Paulina for every little thing, are you?”
