The Coma Prince’s Fiancée novel Chapter 94

Lily swung and missed. That just made her even angrier, so she lunged at Rebecca again, practically flailing in frustration.

“Lily, what do you think you’re doing!”

The shout echoed through the hallway. Instantly, everyone spun around and saw Wade marching down the stairs, his face dark and unreadable.

Lily, who had looked ready to start a fight just moments before, quickly backed off. She pasted on her most wounded expression, eager to play the victim.

“Wade, that new girl didn’t just sneak her way into Apex Academy with fake documents. She insulted and even attacked a teacher. If we let someone this malicious stay at Vantage Point University, who knows what kind of trouble she’ll stir up. I really think we need to expel her on the spot.”

Lily’s confidence wasn’t accidental—she had backing. Sure, he didn’t have Wade’s clout, but he pulled enough strings that Lily was pretty sure Wade wouldn’t choose some nobody over her.

“Faked her way in?” Wade’s voice was heavy with disbelief. He looked straight at Lily. “And who exactly told you that she lied?”

Lily hesitated for just a second but quickly rallied. “She never even graduated from some no-name school. She has no business at Vantage Point, let alone Apex Academy. I heard she was only supposed to be in the prep class, yet she showed up waving an official-looking admission letter, claiming she’s in Class A. What else could that be but a forgery?”

Wade’s face grew even more serious. He silently scolded himself. If he hadn’t come by just now, he never would have known Bekki was being treated like this.

Paulina had been studying Wade and Lily’s faces the entire time. When she saw Wade’s expression turn cold after Lily finished, she immediately decided Rebecca’s letter was probably fake. No wonder that acceptance letter showed up so soon after she had helped Rebecca request one. Rebecca must’ve called in some favor and forged it.
