My plan was to make a quick buck here and then come find you, but I couldn’t reach you at all, so I had to focus on the money first.”

“I was so close to succeeding, and now you show up and pull this stunt, you even hit Mars! he supposed to explain this?”

“And Mars is a patient in this hospital too, right? They say he has a terrible temper, one minute complaining the nurses aren’t doing a good job, the next accusing people of looking down on him and badmouthing him. Everyone thinks it’s bad luck just being in the same hospital as him.”

Autumn gave Nina an incredulous look. “You know all of this?”

“Of course. What gossip could possibly escape me?”

Although Hannah’s boyfriend now believed the baby was his after hearing the crowd’s commentary, it was very likely she would lose the baby after everything that had happened.

The man became furious, accusing Hannah of not wanting his child in the first place.

Nina acted as a commentator, whispering in Autumn’s ear, “This guy just doesn’t want to take responsibility or be the bad guy, so he’s pushing all the blame onto Hannah.”
