THE DIVORCE GAMBIT From Dumped Wife to CEO's Forever novel Chapter 1044

Hearing Elsa's call, Warner immediately jogged over.

Elsa turned to Caitlin and Gertrude. "Catie, Gertrude, let me introduce you. This is my childhood friend, Warner Linwood! He's in the computer science department next door."

"Warner, these are my two amazing roommates, Caitlin and Gertrude."

Warner nodded, looking at Caitlin and Gertrude with a friendly smile. "Elsa and I have known each other since we were in diapers. You two can just call me Warner, same as she does."

He had heard Elsa talk about her two goddess-level roommates many times.

One was the top scorer on the college entrance exams.

The other was the first-place winner of the International Physics Olympiad.

Today, he finally got to meet them in person.

Caitlin handed her camera to Warner. "Then we'll have to trouble you to take a photo for us."

"No trouble at all," Warner said, taking the camera.

Elsa shot Warner a look. "Make sure you get a good angle and make us look pretty! Otherwise, my fists might not know their place!"

As she spoke, Elsa balled her hands into fists and cracked her knuckles.

Warner flinched. "I'll do my best, I'll do my best!"

The three girls struck a pose, and Warner prepared to shoot. "Three, two, one, cheese!"

Click.

The beautiful moment was frozen on the screen.

After the photo was taken, Elsa immediately ran over to inspect it. "Warner Linwood, I haven't seen you in a few days, and your photography skills have really improved!"

Hearing that, Warner finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Good.

He wasn't going to get beaten up.

Caitlin walked over and suggested, "Elsa, how about I take a picture of you and Warner?"

"Yes, yes!" Warner nodded eagerly before Elsa could even speak. "Thanks for the trouble, Caitlin."

Almost as soon as Elsa's words faded, a tall, slender figure suddenly appeared beside Caitlin.

The man was dressed in a sharp suit, his tall frame and long legs commanding attention. His thin lips were pressed together, his handsome features cast in an icy, impenetrable light. He exuded an air of noble refinement that stood in stark contrast to the slightly naive student facing Caitlin. He gently wrapped an arm around Caitlin's shoulder, his voice low and deep. "I'm sorry, she already has a boyfriend."

The student who had just confessed froze, his face turning an even deeper shade of red. He stammered in embarrassment, "Oh, s-sorry."

With that, he quickly fled.

The other young men who had been planning to approach Caitlin saw this and were scared off, immediately abandoning their plans.

Caitlin looked up at Gordon. "What are you doing here? I thought you said you were busy with meetings today."

"No meeting is important enough to make me miss my girlfriend's graduation. Besides, I'm here today to stake my claim, to keep all these clueless guys from hitting on my girlfriend!"

With that, he bent his head slightly, his lips pressing firmly against Caitlin's.

"Ahhh!!!"

Seeing this, Gertrude and Elsa screamed in excitement.
