Even though Samuel already knew that Nadia Wanted to hurt Liar, he still kept Edmond in his position. Edmond had important resources, and they needed him because they were studying the zombie virus.

But after that incident, Edmond managed to make a comeback with the evolution serum. He held a powerful version of the evolution serum. By controlling the Gifted through the serum, he could pressure the military.

If the serum really worked, Samuel honestly wouldn’t have minded handing over a bit more authority.

accept that.

Hayley took off the backpack she carried and pretended to pull something from it, even though she actually took it from her own inventory. She held up a small glass vial and gave them a friendly smile.

“I can sell it to you.”

Half an hour later, Samuel and Liam were

completely stunned by the evolution serum Hayley showed them.

There were almost no impurities or strange smells; it was nothing at all like the stuff Edmond had brought in.

The most important thing was the effect.

Liam had tried Edmond’s evolution serum before.

After taking it, he felt awful. His whole body would go numb for a long time, and only after a long recovery period would he start feeling normal again. During that time, his temper worsened, and he even found himself acting zombie-like.

But Hayley’s evolution serum? It had zero side effects.

After taking it, Liam only felt a warm rush move through his body, and he could immediately sense his gift strengthening

Liam was completely blown away.

Samuel, after recovering from his shock, looked at Hayley with completely different eyes. “Hayley, on behalf of the future of humanity, thank you.”

Hayley paused before saying, “Just so we’re clear, one evolution serum costs ten crystal cores. That’s all I accept ”

She was here to make money. Of course, she didn’t mind helping humanity along in the process.
