A blue and white tulle dress and princess shoes.

Golden blonde hair styled into a thick braid resting over her shoulder, topped with a glittering tiara.

Hiding shyly behind the bad woman, Seraphina was practically glowing. She looked exactly like Princess Elsa, freshly stepped out of the screen.

The smile on her face was so bright it was almost blinding.

Archer blinked, bewildered.

When Dad called to say they had found her, he had checked the time: 10:30 PM.

She had been missing for six hours.

Even though the butler had been vague, just saying it was good she was found, Archer knew a lot of scary, dangerous things must have happened.

Otherwise, Dad would have brought her home immediately.

All night and all morning, he had prepared a whole speech to comfort her.

He never imagined that not only was she not crying, but she didn't look sad or upset in the slightest.

Even so, Archer spotted something wrong immediately. “Seraphina, where's your hair?”

The wig was fitted so perfectly it didn't look fake.

But not a single strand of Seraphina's long, straight black hair was visible.

It looked almost like... her hair was completely gone.

Leaving only the wig.

“It's gone...” the little Elsa shrugged. “Mommy says I'm the Egghead Princess now.”

Egghead?

Bald?

Archer turned an angry glare on Harriet. “What did you do to her hair?”

Tsk tsk.

Just a minute ago he was calling her a bad woman. Now he wasn't even using a title?

Harriet put her hands on her hips, leaned down, and poked his nose. “Kiddo, watch your attitude! Don't be like your iceberg of a dad, okay?”

???

Why was Seraphina a princess and he was just 'kiddo'?

Furious, Archer hadn't even figured out how to retort.

Harriet had already led Seraphina out of the bathroom.

Harriet looked at Jason. “What did Dr. Lynn say? Can we go home?”

Jason nodded.

The four of them headed downstairs and got into the cars to go home.

Two cars drove out of the hospital.

When they pulled into the Summit Villa's garage, there was only one.

Getting out and not seeing Jason, Harriet let out a long breath of relief.
