At almost the exact same time, Jillian finalized Judith's therapy package, completed the paperwork, and escorted her mother out of the spa.

Sienna got into her private car, and the vehicle slowly made its way along the winding mountain road toward the Quincy estate.

As the car bumped gently along the pavement, a sudden, indescribable wave of sorrow washed over her.

People raised daughters hoping that in their twilight years, their girls would be considerate and stay by their side to care for them.

But what about Natalie?

She spent her days drifting around doing absolutely nothing. On the rare occasion she actually came home, all she ever asked for was money, constantly expecting Sienna to clean up her endless messes.

The deep-seated resentment festered inside her, twisting into a toxic jealousy and hatred that somehow fixated entirely on Jillian and Judith.

She couldn't understand it. She came from immense privilege and had enjoyed a life of absolute luxury, yet she didn't have a thoughtful, devoted daughter like Judith did.

The jarring disparity threw her completely off balance, and the malice inside Sienna grew heavier by the minute.

Suppressing the turbulent emotions in her chest, she pulled out her phone and dialed Natalie's number. "What have you been up to lately?"

Natalie's dismissive, impatient voice immediately came through the line. "Ms. Sterling, I'm super busy right now. If you need something, make it quick!"

Sienna softened her tone, revealing a hint of vulnerability. "I haven't been feeling well these past few days. My head is constantly aching. Could you come with me to the hospital..."

"You have Mrs. Watson and Mrs. Miller at the house! Just have them go with you. I wouldn't be any help even if I came back," Natalie replied, her impatience clear.

Sienna maintained her patience. "I was thinking of booking a massage therapy package at the spa, but I wanted to try it out first. Could you go with me..."

"Alright, I really am busy right now. I'll text you when I have time. Gotta go, mwah!"

Staring at the darkened phone screen, Sienna's face turned numb and heavy.

After a long time, a self-deprecating smile pulled at the corners of her mouth.

Just as she expected. Life could never be truly perfect.
