The launch event had just wrapped up.

Jillian and Daniel Langley walked side-by-side toward the parking garage, chatting quietly in a relaxed mood.

"Jillian." Sienna suddenly stepped out from the shadows.

Daniel's reaction was instantaneous. He stepped protectively in front of Jillian, his sharp, guarded gaze locking onto Sienna.

Sienna's eyes were completely bloodshot, her expression desperate and desolate.

"Jillian, I just have a few things I need to say to you."

Jillian gently nudged Daniel aside and looked at her with pure indifference. "Say it here, then. I have a lot going on. I don't have time to waste."

Sienna looked incredibly anxious, throwing a nervous glance at Daniel. "Could we... speak privately for a moment?"

Jillian laughed internally. She knew exactly how this was going to play out. It was always the same exhausting complaints.

She was either going to cry about how miserable Natalie's life was now, or she was going to scream about how Jillian wasn't showing her enough respect.

Jillian had moved on. Her life was full and stable, and she had zero interest in dredging up petty historical drama. She especially didn't want to entertain irrelevant people like Sienna.

She gestured toward Daniel, signaling him to go ahead. "I'll organize the data files tonight and send them over. Keep an eye out for them."

Daniel read the room perfectly. Jillian was completely icing Sienna out, treating her like she didn't even exist.

He played along smoothly. "No rush on the files. You've been working yourself to the bone lately. Take this time to actually rest."

"I'm fine."
