Killian didn't say a word, giving a curt nod before walking out of the room.

The next day, Daniel accompanied Jillian and Stella to a piano solo concert.

Jillian wanted Stella to learn an instrument, figuring it would be a nice skill to have. Whether it was the piano or the violin, she had been trying to discover the child's interests lately.

The performer on stage was a nationally renowned virtuoso in the industry. After the performance, he would select a few young talents to come on stage for some guidance. If Stella was interested, they could sign her up for his private masterclass.

Daniel knew the virtuoso personally and had offered to come along, hoping to use his connections to get her a better chance.

"Do you like it?" Jillian whispered to Stella halfway through the performance.

Stella pouted. "Mom, I don't think I have an artistic bone in my body. I'm falling asleep."

Jillian couldn't help but laugh. She had never wanted to force Stella to learn the piano anyway; she just wanted her to have a hobby.

She turned to Daniel. "Looks like it's a no-go."

Daniel smiled back. "That's fine. We'll just find something she actually likes."

Stella nodded vigorously. "Yeah, to me, this piano playing just sounds like someone banging on pots and pans."

Jillian chuckled. "You know what banging on pots and pans sounds like?"

"No, my classmates said it. It's an internet meme."

"Do you even know what that means?"

Stella shook her head honestly. "Nope."

Seeing her quirky expression, both Jillian and Daniel burst out laughing.

Even though Stella had clearly shown zero interest, considering the pianist's fame, they still brought her down to the stage after the concert, lining up with the other kids and their parents.
