Since it was a blockbuster movie, the line was already long when Killian and the others arrived.
Killian had booked a private theater and gave his name to the staff.
Sean looked down and asked Connor, "Do you like watching movies?"
Connor nodded.
"Then I'll open a private theater just for you in the future, okay?"
Connor nodded, then shook his head. "I like watching with other kids. It's more fun."
Sean smiled and ruffled his hair.
"Mom, it's Connor!" In the line, Stella pointed in Connor's direction.
Her voice carried. When Jillian looked up and followed her finger, Killian, Sylvia, and the rest of their group also glanced over.
Sean noticed them as well. Recognizing her as a top executive from his company, he smiled and nodded.
Connor also saw Jillian and was about to greet her.
A staff member came over to lead them to the private theater. Before Connor could call out, Sylvia pushed him forward.
Jillian went into a regular IMAX theater. Just as they found their seats, Daniel walked over holding popcorn and drinks.
Stella enthusiastically greeted her classmates in the front and back rows.
Her classmates had arranged to watch the movie this weekend, so Jillian didn't book a private theater, opting for regular tickets instead.
She had originally wanted to invite Mallory, but was stood up. Daniel happened to be free, so he tagged along.
The movie went smoothly. When it ended, crowds of adults and kids poured out into the lobby.
The kids chattered, eagerly discussing the movie.
Just as they walked out of the cinema, Jillian's trio bumped right into Killian's group.
Sean greeted them warmly. "Jillian, what a coincidence. We meet again."
Jillian smiled. "Yes, it is."
She nudged Stella, and Stella called out crisply, "Hello, Mr. Quincy."
