Marilyn couldn't believe her own eyes. What was she looking at?
It was a photograph of Queenie kissing another man passionately!
Although the man's face was obscured by the angle, his build proved without a doubt that it wasn't her brother, Zander!
"Queenie Xylon, you've been sleeping around behind my brother's back?!"
Marilyn shrieked at the top of her lungs.
For a split second, a flash of panic hit Queenie when she saw the image, but she quickly forced herself to calm down.
Wasn't this just another one of Zander's twisted games?
Why should she feel guilty?
Snatching the photo with cool composure, she studied it for a brief moment before tossing it back dismissively. "You actually believe this photoshopped garbage?"
"Photoshopped? I have the proof of your cheating right in front of my face, and you're still denying it? You shameless little—"
Marilyn raised her hand to slap her, but Queenie caught her wrist mid-air with an icy grip.
"What the hell is going on here?"
Just as the tension reached a boiling point, Zander strode into the room.
Lianne had been worried her daughter would start a fight, so she had called her son to hurry home.
Zander walked over, frowning deeply. "Why are you trying to hit my wife?"
"Why am I trying to hit her? Look at this! Your supposedly devoted, saintly wife is a filthy cheat making a fool out of you, and you're completely in the dark!"
Furious, Marilyn shoved the photograph into her brother's chest.
Zander looked down at the picture. His pupils dilated violently. A storm of shock, disbelief, and unbearable rage washed over his face.
Queenie mentally scoffed. He was quite the actor, pretending he didn't orchestrate this whole thing.
But then it hit her—this wasn't the man Zander had hired.
