Sable POV

“YOU ASSHOLE! YOU TOLD A LIE TO THE PACK AND THEY DESTROYED MY PARENT’S MEMORIES! MY MEMORIES! YOU’RE A MISERABLE BASTARD! YOU COULDN’T HAVE ME, SO YOU MADE SURE TO DESTROY MY PARENT’S MEMORIES! YOU KNEW HOW MUCH THIS MEANT TO ME! I screamed and rage was the aura pushing down on everyone around me. The only three that didn’t bow were Crane, Jaxon, and Darius. But of the three, Darius is the only one affected. He’s clearly the weakest.

Crane then stepped up and with a deathly low voice, “Explain yourself Darius. Now.”

“I didn’t give any orders for the pack to destroy her cottage. I had no knowledge of this happening, or I would have stopped it.”

“Did you tell them that Sable abandoned them for Winter Moon? Did you omit that she found her fated mate?”

His eyes widened. “Of course not.”

Crane calls his guard, and he is hauling two warriors. Two lives I saved previously. Two men I respected and treated kindly. They looked at me with disgust.

Then Crane told two more of his guards to restrain Darius and put a silver collar on him so he couldn’t mind link. They also put one on Beta Anton.

Crane steps in front of them, and pushes his aura down on them hard, “What did Alpha Darius tell you about Sable?”

Both of them said the same thing. Darius told the pack that Sable abandoned the pack for Winter Moon. Crane spoke again, “Did Darius at any time tell you that Sable is fated to Alpha Jaxon?”

Their eyes widened and they looked at me. “Fated mate? You found him?”

I grabbed Jaxon’s hand, “Yes. Alpha Jaxon of Winter Moon is my fated mate.”

They shook their heads, “We didn’t know. We swear! He said you abandoned our pack because Winter Moon was better than ours.”
